  1. If it is because you need an adjustment, hopefully you can shop around. Depending on where you are, look around for other gastric docs that may have lower rates for office visits. I was a cash patient and after my year of after care runs out they charge $75 for adjustments.

  2. Try to look for classes or shows that have modified moves. The instructor at a local fitness center where I'm at does that. She is, of course, in excellent shape, but not everyone in the class is, so she always shows at least 2 or 3 different variations of some of the more complex poses for people who aren't as flexible. Don't give up on it though...yoga is my absolute favorite workout. I have come a really long way since I have started doing it and I can get my body into better positions than some of the smaller ladies in my class. I kind of look at it as an NSV :) Good luck!

  3. I was banded on 12/11/12 and have never EVER had a problem with headaches. April 13th I developed a headache that lasted for a continuous 3 weeks with only a few sporadic hours of relief with the help from medications that my doctor prescribed me. I have now started seeing a neurologist that specializes in headaches and he has classified this as a Migraine due to the symptoms I have described. I am on high doses of migraine meds for this problem and it keeps coming back (i.e. all day Sunday I couldn't even get out of bed I was in so much pain). I have heard that some people with Lap Band develop Migraines post-op and was curious to know if anyone on here has experienced anything like this as well. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  4. I appreciate everyone's feedback, but now I'm more confused than ever! Why are there so many varying rules for the same darn thing? That just makes no sense to me. I'm going to heed my doctor's instructions, but I still want to know why it's different for everybody.

  5. I have noticed that a lot of you eat a small plateful of food for your meals. My surgeon told me I should eat between 1/4 and 1/2 cup of food 5 times a day. I'm starving all the time, and know it is because of the small amounts of food I am eating. It scares me to eat more than that size portion because I'm scared to death of something going wrong. Does anyone else have these issues or concerns?
