yeah.. I was approved, got the call yesterday. I am going in the morning to pick up my shakes from the Dr to start my liquid diet. Surgery is scheduled for May 30th. I'm excited and nervous.. :-)

uggg. well my PCP didn't send over the clearance. after 4 phone calls, we finally got it. so my paperwork is being submitted to cigna today... maybe I will hear something next week. :-)

good to know.. I have cigna too. they have had my paperwork for 2 days now.. so hopefully any day I will hear from them..

today was my last appointment for my three month Dr supervised weight loss time. she is sending in the rest of my paperwork so the surgeon can send it in to insurance... now just have to,wait for approval!! oh.. and lost 12 pounds! can't wait for the next step, I am excited.. maybe within the next month I will be banded :-)

and you didn't have the acid reflux anymore after the Lapband and hernia repair? because that would be great!

did anyone know about their hernia before surgery? if so, what were the symptoms? I still in the Dr supervised stage, surgery in about 2 months. I have noticed alot of burping up acid and vomiting of acid over the past 6 months or so, so just curious if that might be from a hernia. my surgeon said they would repair it if there was one.

my Dr is in Tampa too. im still working on my 3 month Dr visits for Insurance. just started month 3
