Hi there. I just had my surgery today by Dr. Ache. I had four small incisions.

Honk, I actually am following doctors orders. 4 ounces of protein a day with unlimited green vegis. Plus the two Protein shakes a day. Keep it positive please. And thank you Instyle.

Congrats January bandsters!!!!! I have surgery scheduled jan 16. Very happy to see all the excitement you all have in here, it just makes this decision feel even better. You are all very influential, good luck and keep us updated

I'm on day one of the pre op diet too. I'm starving!!! I had my two Protein shakes and couldn't wait until dinner. I cooked two ounces of chicken, two ounces of steak and then put onions and green peppers with it....basically a fajita without the tortilla. I used a small plate too to feel better. This adjustment is hard for sure but god I can't wait to loose all these pounds!!!! Good luck with all the rest of you and please keep posting.

How are you all doing with pre op diet? I start mine tomorrow (Jan 3) Trying to view that I am not losing out in the food I love, but gaining in health and a satisfying weight. I feel so excited and motivated today I also biked the upper bay trail and it kicked my butt....now my legs are jelly how is the diet going for you all??? Hey SkinnyCubanChic!! How is life after banding? Do you LOVE it? Any tips, advice or anything to say? I am going though Suncoast Bariatrics self pay program. Dr. Ache is my surgeon so I start my 2 week water diet on Wednesday. I am so excited. Please update and let me know what life is like for you!
