About on my 3rd fill I got a big one. Water was hard to swallow. I stuck it out over the weekend and by Monday all was fine. Guess the band needed a few days to figure out how it wanted to work. Did great after that. Didn't have to go back for unfill. Was very glad. I'm getting there. I hope this next small fill will get me in the green zone Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

I think if your loosing and eating healthy just wait till u can no longer do it,then go for fill. Hey my thought is if it works stick with it . I only go for a fill when I can eat waaaay more than a cup of food. And start the late night carb munchies,,, but it's your body u do what u feel is best for you Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

You r going to do just fine. Just try to do what dr says. We r all human and the liquid diet would b tuff but I know several ppl who had to do it. I was lucky with having the Adkins diet. Hang in there it will all soon b just a memory!!! U will wake up one day and shout to the heavens that u r skinny!!! I love my band and wish I had done it a lot sooner!!! I'm so much happier now . My dr put 3.5 cc in mine at time of surg. Had it done 12-12-12. I lost everytime I went for a fill. I'm up to 7.5 cc now and ready for another fill. But trust me there r times I practically starve myself so I won't gain. It's not ez always making good food choices but I really try to. I need to keep potatoes and pastas out of my life. I'm a carb junkie. But I'm getting better at not eating them. It's tuff but if we wanna loose we gotta follow the rules or the surg will b a waste of time. All the above I too have read . I did the Adkins diet for 2 weeks. And a friend of mine paid cash and used my dr and did NO DIET. She came to tx from ky on a Monday did bloodwork and next day had surg. She has already last 45 lbs since feb 1 st. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

First fill was 3 weeks after surg. Then I went every 3 weeks till I got to 7.5. It's been about 6 weeks since last fill but I'm eating more and more often. Just need a small adjustment. Last one was only .03 cc. That's about what I want this time Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

I too eat too fast (as if someone is going to take my food) I'm still learning too. I do know bread don't work for me. I have days where I can eat with no problem then next day I'm pbing. Had my surg 12-12-12 and I tend to b very hard headed and eat big bites. Not good to do. I have lost over 53 lbs and have 7.5 cc in a 10 cc band. Wanting another small fill. Right after surg the dr said children's Tylenol. Now I take Advil but don't need it but one in a blue moon!!! No more waking up with backaches or any aches!!! Love my band:) Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Do any of you have days where u can eat normal (no stuck episodes) then a few days later eat same things and get stuck? Today my band won't even let me eat tiny bites of chicken and no veggies!!! Can someone tell me what is a fluro I had a fill done and after the fill I drank some white stuff then they X-ray me to see how much flow I had going thru. Is that a fluro?? Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk
