Can I simply send Natalie the form I sent Carmen? If yes, where do I send it?
Thanks, Jannette

My BMI is 39. I believe it's nobody's business but mine. I have only shared my up coming procedure details with my husband and 3 of my closest friends. I need this for me. Don't let others get to you.

Congratulations Edithf71! You are already loosing and I am excited for you.

I'm in the Phoenix area. I'm scheduled 8/13. I'd be interested in a local group as well.

Yes, I'm having a revision with Dr. A and can't wait for August to arrive.

I also had a lap band previously. I loved it until my body rejected it. They were going to try to save my Lap band, but I was afraid of never being able to swallow again. So, I had it removed over a year ago. I since gained half of my lost weight back. I talked to my husband about able sleeve. He is so encouraging of me. I can't wait, but I have to wait until August. Time is already flying. I need this tool to help me like the way some elderly need a walker.

RuxieGirl,
I made the decision in April, but I have to wait until mid August. I too can't wait!

Hi Keshajo1,
I'm scheduled with Dr Altamirano in August. I would really like to follow your progress if you don't mind.

I agree with everything said above. It does get better. I had my surgery on 12/18/12 and did a half marathon on 1/20/13. So, as you can see it is short lived. Time to get healthy!

Too funny! For a short moment I thought oh no, but then lol.

My daughter is a Girl Scout; so, I had to buy some. Luckily, I have too much. I have had 2 Savannah Smiles and 1 Samoas. Fortunately, Samoas are not my favorite. Good luck being good everyone!

I know how you fill banded 12/19 and no fill yet either
I was banded on 12/19 also. I had 1st fill 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I am feedback on 2/4 & hoping for a 2nd fill as I am not losing like I should. I am down 12-13 pounds since surgery depending on the day.

Hi everyone,
I was banded 12/19/12, I am down 13 pounds. Before being banded I signed up for the PF Chang's 1/2 marathon which took place this last Sunday. I am happy to say, I completed at the same time I got last January when I jogged/walked it. This year, I was required to walk the entire 13.1 miles per my surgeon's instructions. I am not as sore as I was last January. Life is good. I took yesterday and today off from the gym for rest and will be back tomorrow. Still walking with no weights as my surgeons requires me to wait a full 5 weeks post op. Have a Happy Tuesday!

I was banded 12/19/12 and had my first fill today. I did not feel much of anything. I am sorry you had a bad time with your fill! I am sure your next will be better. Good luck!Banded 12/7/12 I got my first fill yesterday. 4ccs and it wasn't pleasant. Hoping it gets better and each subsequent fill is much smoother. So far I lost 16 pounds and am feeling good. I also just took off the bandaid and realized dr removed a stuck that was popping through and didn't dissolve. All in all I'm feeling good and happy with the band. I definitely felt a difference today when I was able to go back to soft good after the liquids. I think I have some restriction.

Dr. Altamirano

Dr Altamirano did my surgery in Tijuana, Mexico on August 13, 2015. He did a wonderful job. I had complications after surgery due fact that anesthesia makes me sick to my stomach. Dr Altamirano was very concerned, he kept me in the hospital longer than most. And when he was sure I was ok he gave me a ride to the recovery house in his own car do that I didn't have to wait for Robert to return.
