  15. Congrats! I think a lot of us were considering the sleeve for me especially being able to still take NSAIDs but considering I love all things sweet. I thought roux en y is a better bang for my buck.

  21. Absolutely no worries with the EGD you literally fall asleep and wake up like nothing ever happened to you. You will be a little drowsy for the rest of the evening, but just sleep that off. Also be sure to drink water after for your throat.
  22. Hey! I've been holding my breath to post and today I received my tentative date of March 20th- First day of Spring. Yeahh!!

  27. It seems to me that you already know the why you don't want to tell. Until your ready it is totally your choice to not give personal information to those who it doesn't belong to. So simply say: I'll be off for a few weeks, to take care of personal matters." And if someone presses just say, " I love(like, care, whatever but I'd prefer not to discuss it."
  28. I don't think I've ever been good at keeping secrets, so I've just slowly started dropping hints. I've been eating really healthy lately and people are asking questions, so instead of beating around the bush I just tell them.
  29. Glad that you're feeling better!
  30. I guess this is a reality check that I may not get all I want, but I'm praying that my roots are weight related!
  31. I've also been trying to do this approach. I will say I have noticed that after eating really well and if I go on a carb binge, I am so exhausted that I feel like I can't move one bit!
  32. I actually have two but my new one for this journey is : Biggirlbiggerheart.wordpress.com My running blog is: Plussizerunner.wordpress.com I'm excited to check out everyone's blogs. I feel it helps me to see others journeys!
  33. Just wanted to say that it scares me that I'm the only I one at my support group and I was one of two at the last one. It's a little shockingly disappointing! So I guess I'm saying I'm grateful for online communities like this one!!
  34. Lol yes and I went to one of the support meetings a few staffers were there as patients so that is nice to see as well! Best wishes with your upcoming surgery date!
