  1. Again all, thanks so much! I feel like a new person and the goal of my post was to inspire others that if journal your food, eat lean Protein first, drink Water and get 30 minutes of some type of body movement daily. Also, the number 1 reason for my Lapband success is that for the first 12 months I saw my Lapband Surgeon monthly and now at goal I see him quarterly and he makes certain he provides me with the tools to succeed! This has not been an easy journey but I love this new body and the second chance at living a healthy life!

  2. Hi Lapband Talk Family, on August 8, 2012 I had Lapland surgery weighing in at 245 (5'6 and size 18/20) and I met my Weightloss goal on Thursday August 1 weighting in at 144 lbs (size 4/6). My goal weight was 145. Please check out my transformation, and thanks to everyone that encouraged me along this journey. 9 more lbs to lose to live in my maintenance range o 135 - 145. Loving my Lapband, what an awesome tool! Update: I'm now at 132 lbs and I'm wearing a size 0/2. I'm loving my Lapband!

  3. Dee you have been my inspiration for a long time so thank you very much! Nyshia, on average I have lost about 9 lbs a months but the numbers never drove me. I really needed and wanted to retrain my mind and body on how I relate to food. So I have focused on getting rid of the bad eating habits that cause me to get to 245 lbs and focus on learning new eating habits that will keep me at my goal weight. My relationship with food has completely change. Food is no longer in control, I am. Also I joined myfitnesspal with Dee and others and I track everything I eat! I'm luckyaka on my fitnesspal.
