Good Moring March Banders, I had my first fill on 4/2 they did not give me the amount of cc's they put in and my next fill is coming up on 4/30. My weight loss has not moved this month it keeps fluctuaiting between 211-214 so I am staying away from my home scale and will let the RN weigh me next week, hopefully this adjustment will give me a little more restriction but not too much Good Luck all and thanks for sharing your progress!! Xo

most insurance companies do not take the full 30 days. I would call in a week and then week 2 and so on.... call your insurance company many of us did!!

Does your Dr require liquids for 24 or 48hrs? I don't believe I drank milk or coffee in that first 24 after my fill. I have my second fill next week and this does not sound good! Please call your dr and let me know how things are going for you! Xo

Every docs different mine is no solids 4 hrs before and drinks 1 hr before followed by 48 hrs of liquids. The procedure was not painful at all just a little stick not nearly as bad as giving blood!

I had my first fill yesterday using the fluor option. It was pretty neat to watch the barium fluid go through the only thing is I have no clue how much they put in my band they estimated about 4cc's... Good Luck with your second fill mine will be on 4/30!!

I believe I felt that pulling sensation when I turned wrong or layed the wrong way... lots and lots of pillows help to! Good luck and hang in there! -

Oh yes they really sow that thing to your abdominal wall and it will be sore for a few days! The recliner and an ice pack where my best friends! -

Thanks for all the support Mis73 sorry to hear about your Grandma! Another reason I love this site! I am so happy to have a diagnosis my family thought I was clumsy and crazy when I said I have numbness from the waist down! Glad to hear that the spinal tap won't be to bad I keep hearing the after headaches hurt the worst! Thx for the support! Xo -
