At Dr for first fill banded 12/19 so happy 33 pounds down after banded 43 total I feel on top of the world

I'm persevering!! I'm having some non-band related health challenges, but I refuse to let it derail me! I love my band so far, and am excited to have my first fill this week! Day by day, pound by pound, mile by mile!

I love the fitpal and endomondo apps on my phone. It makes it really easy to track my food and exercise!

I need to figure out how to add people to the apps so we can encourage each other!

Hard to believe it's been a month already!!

I'm two weeks postop tomorrow. Everything is going well. I hardly feel any restriction now. I wish they wouldn't make me wait til February 1st for my first fill. I went to mushies after the first week. I'm down 10lbs. Shoulder/neck pain keeps coming back. Happy New year fellow bandsters! It's going to be our year!!

Wow i made it to the one week post surgery mark. Today was a good day. The shoulder/neck pains have finally let up. That was worse than the incision pain by far. My glue is lifting and itchy so i guess I'm healing. It's so hard not to lift stuff. As an independent single girl I'm used to doing it all myself. I hope i didn't overdo it this week.

What a great way to start 2013

Good morning fellow December bandsters. I'm thrilled to post that i woke up feeling great this morning. I was banded on 12/19. I've lost 7 lbs so far! 7 more to get to Onederland! Thanks for your posts. The gas and bathroom issues have been easier to deal with knowing it's normal and will be over soon.

Hi I got my band on 12/19/2012. I'm trying to patiently wait out the gas pains. Otherwise I'm feeling pretty good. It's so nice to hear everyone's experiences and know that I'm in good company.
