  1. This is my first day of preop. I am allowed three shakes a day. This is giving me huge anxiety. It seems like when you can't have food you think about this. I think this is going to be really hard.
  2. Has anyone followed the weight watchers program after getting the band? Just curious if it worked out.
  3. I haven't told anyone I weigh but they usually guess 65 pounds lighter than I really am. Even my surgeon asked me if I was sure about the surgery. I can't lose weight on my own. I need this procedure.
  4. Do we really have to be off caffeine? I saw it was recommended due to dehydration but I drink tons of water. I'm going to miss carbonated drinks.
  5. It is good to hear. I'm also on metformin. Would like to get off of it. I am losing my hair so bad. Anyways did you lose weight preop? I have to do only three Protein shakes a day two weeks before surgery.
  6. Is there anyone out there that had pcos and was able to lose weight with the band? I'm worried I won't lose weight even with the right tools.
  7. If I lost ten pounds per month I will be close to goal. I will go crazy shopping for clothes.
  8. I'm not telling anyone about my surgery because of that exact feeling. I wonder why I couldn't do it on my own
  9. I'm just so scared of failure. Being hungry all the time. It seems a lot of people talk about hunger. I am a big Water drinker. Can I drink as much and as quick as I want after surgery?
  10. Hi Everyone I haven't got banded yet. I'm starting to freak out. Please tell me this is normal and everything will be ok. I'm scared. Why did I fail at other diets and why do I think this one will work? So much self doubt.
