  1. Hi There I guess they filled my band with 4cc during surgery. That is what they took out. I could swallow but it felt like a big lump in my throat. They said I was too swollen from the surgery to have fill in too.
  2. Sorry I meant done to myself. Auto text isn't it great!
  3. I sit here feeling sick asking myself why did I have this surgery. I am regretting it and just want it out. It is only five days but they already had to take fluid out of me because I am too swollen. It must get better.
  4. If you feel full isn't that what you want? I'm worried I will never have that feeling considering I had to have it taken out already.
  5. Now if we don't get fills do we still have restriction? I wonder why I went through the surgery if I don't have that restriction. Do you feel satisfied?
  6. I'm just wondering if there is anyone that has never had a fill. I just had surgery and they had to take my fill out because swallowing was hard. Will I gain weight now? What will happen?
  7. Thank you it had to be done. I just couldn't swallow right at all. I have to wonder why I swelled more during the surgery for this to happen. No fills until I know I'm not swollen. I can handle the head hunger as I did in preop but I can't stand the feeling of not being able to swallow right.
  8. I didn't think I was supposed to be filled. I had been wondering what I had done to myself. If the way I felt was normal I didn't want it. I wanted the band out. Hopefully I will have a big improvement. I will just go really slow with the fills. I'm ok with that.
  9. I am five days post op. I had to be de-filled. I guess I had so much swelling from the surgery and the fill I couldn't swallow without it hurting. I feel so much better I'm not filled. I am on clear fluids again today. Anyone else have this?
  10. I'm glad to see your post. I can't imagine a day where I won't feel horrible or feel like something is stuck or drink normally again.
  11. I feel the same as you. I was done on the 8th wondering what have I done. I keep getting reassured I will get better. I have swelling right now that is why liquids are so hard. Keep me updated.
  12. Thanks Tiny. It is very comforting to hear from you
  13. Did you feel ok after your fill? I can't imagine being restricted more than I am. I am just a big Water drinker. I miss that right now.
  14. Tiny you are with dr c? God I hope my third day isn't worse. I'm really thirsty. Thanks for your reply. Good to head about other people.
  15. I remember the dr telling me when I had my consultation that they didn't put a fill in. I will ask tomorrow. It is also interesting I got a 10cc band when they normally do 14cc. Now I have lots of questions.
  16. Thank you. I wasn't worried about band issues because I don't think I would keep anything down. Now I'm freaking out wondering if I will be able to eat when the time comes
  17. I'm glad to hear you are the same. I guess when people say they are tolerating liquids well that is that interpretation. It could mean they aren't vomiting. I don't know if it is a concern or I just don't know what to expect
  18. Hi there I have been able to keep fluids down but I really can't have that much. I don't know if it is because of the has inside of me too. They said I would be swollen for a few days. I worry I made a mistake if I feel like this now
  19. I was banded on feb 8th. I'm not looking for a miracle but so many people are talking about how well they are tolerating liquids. I'm not tolerating them much at all. It hurts to swallow. Is there anyone else like me?
  20. I got banded on the 8th. I'm amazed how well everyone is doing on liquids. I'm struggling on liquids. It just hurts. I don't know if it is because I have so much gas left in me. I wish I did as well as everyone else
  21. How do you physically feel? I was banded yesterday. I am having problems drinking Water so far but I hear it will get better. I'm just swollen.
