  1. I know the fear of vomiting. Don't be afraid of calling the Dr.. I had the same problem and waited 3 days before I called. Dr. Said It was the pain Meds , was better by the time the last med wore off. Call Dr. To make sure. For me the pain was'nt half as bad as the gagging. This too shall pass!!!!'

  2. I too have had to struggle through the holidays. This is my first season with my band. So glad to see I'm not alone. It has given me real insight to the many reasons I use food as a comfort. I am getting back on track& yes it does feel so much better to be on track physically. It is amazing how much I have learned about myself by listening to my tool!!!!

  3. Congrats on the new baby! You now have the best reason in the world to get back on track. Your child deserves a healthy active life with you. If you get this off now he/she will never have to know you as the I can't person but the let's go person who can do anything she wants with her child!

  4. My biggest fear is not finishing what I have started . Don't give up! Remember how hard the liquid phase was and the gas. You look you g on your picture. I'm 61 and wish I had this surgery when I was young. I've missed out on a lot but, I'm making up for lost time and loving it. Don't go back you deserve it. Bad knees, being out of breath is no respecter of persons or age. YOU CAN FINISH. Do it for yourself .

  5. Reading all the posts on this topic is a real eye opener. I have a lot to think about. So far I've done very well. X- mas has been very hard. Was banded on 04/30/12, so this is my first holiday. I have gone from 272 to 187. I am realizing this is such a life changing decision and so different for each person on this walk. I want to learn from each post and appreciate each comment. Thanks for sharing and caring enough to be honest.

  6. I'm still in the process of loosing the weight. I have begun to understand what floridays is saying. What a freedom, not letting food run my life. It's still hard, but so many other things to think about. Not out of breath, knees don't hurt. Best part shopping in any store I want. That's living in the moment.

  7. I Don't know why you did that so soon after surgery. I really did a lot of soul searching. This is a major life change for me. You might want to think about the reason you did the surgery . If the real reason is just to look better, you may not make it. I needed to change for all of that and my health. Try going back to the feeling you had when you made the decision to have the surgery.prove to yourself your worth it.i now know I'm the one with the brain not the food.i know you can do this
