I used to have a list of these from one of the many times I tried to lose. I can't remember what all I had on there, but I remember one of them was buying all new underwear! And, don't discount the food rewards... my neighbor and I did WW and decided we'd go out for peanut buster parfaits once we both hit 10%. Probably not a good idea to eat one of those, but we WERE eating 3 a week. So, our "agreement" kept us away from DQ for months. LOL

I have 5 kids, and this is WHY I had the surgery. I was trying to coach soccer and keep up with these kids nearly 100 lbs overweight. I'd like to be able to do that while they're still young, AND be around to watch them get old!

Do you buy any clothes while your weight is transitioning down?

I wish I had that problem! I've lost over 30 pounds and STILL haven't gone down a size! GRR! LOL -

Can I stretch my pouch by drinking too much liquid?
Angie4b1g replied to malby's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would sip it more slowly than you did in the past. As long as it's going in slowly, it'll slide right through. -
Questions I forgot to ask my doctor today!

You'll probably need someone to drive you home, since you're not supposed to drive on narcotics. Once you get there, though, you'll probably be fine. The first 2 days I didn't get around so good, but all I could "eat" was liquids anyway, so I just kept a bottle of Isopure by the bed. LOL -
B: Egg/Toast L: Bean and Salsa taco S: String cheese and ww crackers D: Club Sandwich (not ideal, but it is what it is)

CSI Miami and LV, Law and Order (original and SVU), 24, LOST, Biggest Loser, Survivor, pretty much anything on TLC, Discovery Health, uh... I dunno.

I don't watch until they're down to like 12. I'm a fair weather fan. LOL

Most of my live was spent in the Metro Detroit area, but I've been in Ohio for 4.5 years and I LOVE it. Maybe not the winter weather so much, but otherwise. From October - April I'm pretty much vowing to move to Florida. But the rest of the months I'm happy. LOL

Nope! Sounds perfectly ok to me Just have to count the calories, but doesn't sound like there's too many!

I could never understand why my husband would want to have sex after watching me give birth. lol -
3 months of fills is a racket if it starts from the day of surgery

The idea that I was "wasting money" by not finishing everything on my plate is what got me fat in the first place. My ex eats until he's full and then stops. To him, eating after that is totally illogical. I used to say "but we're paying for this meal!" to which he would reply "and we're paying the same price whether you eat it or not, if you're full you're full." I guess I'm happy to "throw my money away" as you put it, if that's what it takes to have a healthy relationship with food.

Scott Baio is pregnant?

I was feeling bad enough about the ice cream. It's not that I don't WANT to eat a chalupa. But fear of my band slipping is far greater than any of my compulsions, thankfully! LOL

I put on and wore my size 18 jeans from 7am til just now! I finally had to take them off so I could exhale, but THEY WERE ON! First time I have worn that particular pair in 4+ years. On a side note, I have about 10 pair of 18s on the shelf waiting for me and I noticed today that they are all hideously cut mom jeans. Guess new clothes are on my horizon. Darn.

Freaking out.....seven incisions?
Angie4b1g replied to rkilbury's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I love the idea of getting a tattoo over my big scar. I have never had one before, so it would almost be fitting to get my first one as I start my new life. Wonder how well they'd be able to cover it. Hmm. -
I liked the idea of the band being adjustable. Plus, the surgeon offered all of those and his wife had a band, so I figured if that's the one he chose for her, that's the one I'd take.

Freaking out.....seven incisions?
Angie4b1g replied to rkilbury's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had 5, but 4 of them are super puny, and are where I have 500 stretch marks anyway, so you can't even see them. And I'm only 3 weeks post-op. -
I look at and take pictures of people for a living. Doesn't take me long to notice an unflattering arm cradling a breast.
