  2. Wonderful story....yep, definitely something to be proud of!! Fantastic job!
  3. I'm so sorry....that was unprofessional and mean of her. I would definitely not see her again. How ignorant of her to compare your weight loss to other peoples...everyone is different. Don't give up hun, you're so new to this, like me. We will do this!!...big hugs
  4. You have to find what works for you and fits in your diet...In the beginning you have to stick to the doctor recommended foods for a reason.....but realistically you have to find food that you can eat for the rest of your life and if cereal is one of those foods then I don't see any problem with that. You can count the cereal's carbs and calories, stick to your portion and count it in your daily calorie allotment. Obviously there are cereals out there that are better than others, high fiber and low sugar cereals are going to be better than frosted flakes....
  5. Congratulations on your surgery!!! My shoulder gas pain lasted about 8 days, hopefully yours will be gone soon...hoping your work week goes well and you're not too uncomfortable

  7. Oh No! I am so very sorry hun.....
  8. I agree with Missy, I track everything I put in my mouth on myfitnesspal..If you are staying within your portion/calorie limits and moving it will happen...we all lose at different rates, I know it's hard not to be discouraged, hang in there and Best Wishes
  9. Chocolate is my weakness for sure...

  22. To the person who mentioned Crystal Light Peach Iced Tea in a post, (I'm so sorry I can't remember who it was) I could kiss you! Thank you so much...I had tried a few of the other flavors and wasn't impressed, I read the post and thought it sounded good, I bought some and I love it! So now my water consumption is greatly increased....Just wanted to say Thank You!!
  23. I have the same insurance as carolinagirl...so no sleeve option for me either, but even given the option I would have opted for the band just because it is less invasive. Like the wise people said before me any wls surgery can be successful as long as you do your part and do everything you can to make it successful...I'm still a rookie, only 6 weeks out but I LOVE my band! I wish you well in whatever you decide!
  24. Just amazing!! Thank you for posting, I know those before pics are hard to post but you truly look fabulous!!
