  1. My hubby got scared. He told me, "don't go getting skinny and decide to leave me!" When I told him I wanted to be skinny so he could pick me up and ravage me against a wall, his tune totally changed!! Funny thing is now that I've lost most of my excess weight, he's suddenly lifting weights! I guess he still has that promise in the back of his mind!! I'm not quite small enough for him to pick me up like that just yet, but I can't wait!!


  2. I was banded 12/4 and have lost 15 pounds! I've always had Constipation and during the liquids only phase, I craved something salty so I sipped on 1/4 cup of Pickle Juice. A few hours later, I had the best BM ever!!! I was so surprised and curious if the pickle juice was the ignition and did a little research. Sure enough, it works like a laxative! I know it has a lot of sodium, but a little dab will do ya!!


  3. I tried the powder that the doctor sells, but didn't like it so much. Muscle milk is pretty good. I like the vanilla cream. They have 20g Protein. I also like the gladiator smoothie from Smoothie King. It has 45 g of protein! I can't stand plain chicken broth so I bought Campbell's chicken and stars and strained most of the stars and chicken. I also ate a bunch of sugar free Popsicles and Jello. You will get sick of this stuff but it won't be long before you won't care what you eat because you won't have an appetite! I got banded 10 days ago and looooooove it!


  4. I was banded on the fifth and have had a hard time staying awake too! I finally realized it was the medication. I was given pain and nausea meds and was taking them religiously. After the fourth day, I got out of the house for a bit and didn't take the medication. I found out I didn't really need them anymore. I haven't had much gas but do feel a shortness of breath when moving around a lot. I sit down when I get tired and try to take a few deep breaths. Listen to your body and your band. We just need to allow our bodies to heal.
