PMS gets me. Doing great, not hungry, eating small amounts. Then BAM! I'm hungry and I crave milk. And I shake my head as I know it's PMS. Been that way since I was a teenager. And I can eat more. Not pre band more but just more than the week before. So I have some of what I crave and spend a lil extra time on my bike.

Ever have a potato chip scrape when swallowing and feel like its hung up? It's like that but some food really is stuck so much so that you start producing extra saliva to help move it down. But sometimes it doesn't move and you fill up with slime and it gets to a point where that all comes up. And for me, the stuck feeling is more painful than when it all comes up. It's not like vomiting. Your stomach isn't involved in all this. It's all above the band.

I think I just wanted to see 199 so bad I didn't know how to process 198. It just didn't make sense. Lol.
I did dig out some 16W and they fit. So I'm quit happy with the 198.

That's horrible. Hopefully you feel better soon.
I'll just wait it out. Exercising and taking Vitamins.

Do you count calories? I know it helps me to lose to count calories. I was decent with estimating portion size but I really didn't know how many calories things contained.
I recently went out to dinner with friends. They all got dessert. I did have one bite to taste. I later looked up the dessert to count the calories of that one bite (yes I count even a bite) and the whole dessert was more than 1000 calories. Yes it was big but I would have never guessed over 1000! That only reinforced that I needed to continue to count calories.
And I've been on thyroid meds for years. If you do have that problem being properly medicated will help. But it still comes down to consuming less than you burn.

Would you like to share more if what you are feeling? Lots of ppl on this forum have prolly felt the same way. Most everyone is willing to listen.

But it did read 198.8! :-)
I completely skipped over 199. It almost seems anti-climatic. Lol. Very happy with my band. I've lost ~75 lbs in a lil less than 8 months. I have about that much more to lose since I'm short to reach a good BMI.
Good luck to you on your journey!

Dr wants me stay on lower dose for two more weeks. Ugh. But I've been seeing him for over five years so I'll trust his judgement. But I will be calling in at exactly two weeks if I'm tired at all.

I would be interested in dress slacks for work if Roo doesn't want them.

There are plenty of other threads on other boards. You posted on a 12 Step one.

Just take it day by day. If you aren't very weak or shaky then you're probably getting in enough. Each day will get easier.

I like to cook some bacon to a crisp. Then cook onions and squash in the drippings. And once they are soft add in a can of diced tomatoes with the juice. Crumble the bacon, salt and pepper, and cover until heated thru. I know the bacon doesn't sound healthy but it's only two pieces for a dish that is numerous servings.

Are you sure you're not too tight? I've read more than once on this forum that when you're too tight you might not lose weight. Maybe do a search for threads on being tight. See if it applies to you.
Best of luck!

I eat them but not often. To me they have lots of sugars and a decent amount of calories and I'm usually still hungry after eating one.
But have never had trouble eating one.

It took a few days for my vision to be truly better. I was upset about it as there's a warning about if you have glaucoma. I don't but my father does as well as other family members. Quite upset that wasn't mentioned to me.

It was the two steps higher that gave me the problems. And I have a hard time judging cold as I work in an office and most everyone is cold. But I am dragging butt. Bad. Like drowsy when driving to work after full night sleep.< /p>

Well I call my endocrinologist today. It's been two weeks and I'm exhausted. I actually feel asleep last night while waiting for a web page to load. I was much happier on the higher dose. Actually felt like a regular person. Nurse listened to my concern and should call me tomorrow.

Do you have an anti nausea patch behind your ear? If so remove it. That's what caused my blurred vision. And its instructions say to remove if causing blurred vision.
If not, do you have someone that can review all your paperwork since its after hours? Someone that can help you make the decision to call doctor?

Could it be your intestines? Do you find yourself constipated? Possibly diverticulitis? Just some random thoughts.
But continue going to your doctor to find out what's wrong. You shouldn't be in pain.
Which Bariatric vitamins, minerals and other dietary supplements do YOU take ?

opurity Band Optimized Multivitamin 1 daily
CVS brand calcium chews 2 daily
Natrol Biotin 1 tablet daily
I try to be good and take these every day. I had (and still have) absorption issues so even if I'm eating perfectly I still need the boost from Vitamins. I had blood work done at the end of June and all Vitamins checked were within range.
