Rebecca, I was told by my dietician to always papaya enzyems they act as natural meat tenderizers. This should break up the meat that gets stuck. Check with you surgeon see what he/she has to say.

MsRhonda, I know everyone surgeons are different. Well I was running one week after my surgery. I asked the next day if it was ok, my surgeon told me to wait a week. I told him too late I had done it the day before. he said to continue as long as I am not in pain, with that being said I was banded on Dec. 4 and I've been running walking and doing Jazzercise about 3 days a week. But no strength training. Good luck!!!

Mike you will be fine. I am the biggest baby in the state of Virginia, I was banded on Tuesday evening and I am feeling great!

Thanks all, I got banded on Tuesday, not much pains but gas rumbling really loud.. My husband has left the bed room because it is so loud!

Banded yesterday, home today stomach I rumbling so loud with gas, anyone out there had this problem?
