    I have to press sort of deep, but I'm laying on my back now and I don't have to press as hard. I find my hands constantly over that area!! It's probably a bad habit but I'm still in denial that I can have the band! Haha

    Losing motivation

    I just need to vent. I feel like I'm just starting to lose motivation. I'm eating correctly and I exercise daily and the scale isn't budging. I am 1-month post op and the scale didn't move for me this week and it's making me wonder why I'm putting in all of this effort and not losing weight. I understand this time is for healing still, but I can't help but be discouraged and bummed out... I mean, I am human. I track all of my food on MFP so I'm aware of what I'm eating, but I just don't get it.

    Oh no!! Don't make bad food choices!! Use another outlet to deal with your emotions! You can do it! At least the scale moved for you! Imagine how much more it will move of you make better good choices?! Best of luck!!

    I hear ya... I haven't had a fill yet (only 3cc placed in my band during surgery) and I find myself hungry also. Hang in there. You'll find your sweet spot! Best wishes!!

    Post-Op Diet

    First five days after surgery were clear liquids including water, crystal light, diet snapple, tea, sf ice pops, and low sodium broth. I took was utterly sick of those by day 3! The next two weeks consisted of 3 protein shakes a day and water, crystal light, diet snapple, or tea to hit 64 oz. the neat phase (which I'm currently on) is 2 protein shakes a day and 1 soft food meal a day including protein and veggies (3oz. Each) and if needed a light snack anywhere in the day (typically string cheese, cottage cheese, or Greek yogurt). My next phase will be solids and my dr recommends either 1 or 2 shakes a day and 1 solid meal for optimum weight loss. I may do 1 a day because I can't live forever on 2 shakes and a meal forever.

    would you do it again?

    The worst of my pain was from gas. Yes the first few days I started questioning because I didn't know the kind of pain I was in was normal. Now I'm 1 month post op and down 23lbs and would do it again in a heartbeat! I already feel so much better than I did!

    I understand what you're saying and I'm happy with my loss for the month- I'm discouraged that I didn't lose this week especially since I worked harder this week is what I'm saying

    What is everyone's feeling on spaghetti squash? Do you eat it? If so- what do you do to it? How so you measure it- by weight or volume (ounces vs cups). I had it tonight for the first time so I'm just curious

    Today is my 1 month bandiversary and I gained 1 pound . I don't know how since I am following my doctors instructions and I am exercising. My nutritionist didn't seem concerned but is this normal? I'm down 23 pounds this month by I wanted more
