  1. Today marks 1 month that I had my surgery- how the hell did the scale NOT move this week?! I'm SO bummed

    You are all so great!! I am thrilled I'm down 23lbs but I've been pretty consistent with weight loss so far so I'm bummed it stopped this week! I'm aware that this stage is for waking- that's why I'm on soft foods still. I'm sure I will catch up just like everyone including my NUT told me. Just had to vent this morning! <3

    Thank you all.. It's just a bummer because I have been exercising more this past week so I thought I would have seen a huge jump. My clothes are fitting looser and I can see a difference slightly but it's just a drag that's all.

  5. Those were the worst! But my doctor was explaining to me how those intentionally make you hungry so I avoided them and the food network at all costs!
  6. I'm only 3 weeks out and started on soft food this week, but I'm just curious to know when everyone really started seeing significant, rapid, or consistent weight loss.

  9. The scale isn't moving, so I called my NUT and she said to keep doing what I was doing and it should catch up. She said my body is probably still adjusting to all of these changes. I sure hope so! I hope I'm not eating too few calories.

  10. I was bored out of my mind as well. I blogged a lot or stayed on these boards. I watched TV or just slept because TV was driving me nuts as well . Good luck
  11. I was the same way and my doctor said to drink more. But again I barely had any calories. Just take it easy and keep drinking

    Constapated!!!

    I'm in the same boat and I'm just about 4 weeks pot op. I've taken Ducolax and it helped. I also heard warm apple juice or prune juice too! Good luck
  13. I use the app on my iPhone daily as well as on my laptop and I See the same notifications on both. I'm suggesting that once the notifications are read or opened they disappear from the other device or are marked as read. For example, if I get 25 notifications and read all of them trough my app on my iPhone, when I go to my laptop later on, I still have those same 25 notifications showing up as if they were new. I wish that could be taken care of- it makes responding much harder for me.

    I don't know if you can unless you go through safari and go to their full site. I'm on here on my iPhone a lot and I haven't been able to add friends through my app.

    Calories

    I'm a little over 3 weeks post op and I'm down 24lbs and I see the scale by moving this week. The NUT said when I'm eating ill be between 600-1000 calories a day. Right now I'm on 1 protein shake divided into 2 meals, 1 snack (usually yogurt or cottage cheese) and 1 soft food meal a day and I haven't been hitting the 600 mark. I think my body is still in starvation mode so I'm going yo try to up my calories more. Thanks!!

    Thanks everyone. My NUT said my carbs will be coming from my vegetables and 1 serving of fruit. I'm going I find out more next week. I like the fiber one idea- I do like those bars!

    Yes I a little over 3 weeks post op. I even saw on my next phase no bread, pasta, rice, or beans either. I feel they're being super strict though.

    Thanks Mis! My NUT told me no bread, pasta, rice, or beans. What would you assume? I'm going to email my nutritionist though.

    Sipping, drinking, gulping

    I am 3 weeks post op and was told 1 oz every 5 minutes. I'm able to drink more and I'm scared I will stretch my pouch... Don't know if that's possible
