I'm 3 days post op and I bought the Miracle noodles and wanted to know if that would considered a mushy food. How does everyone prepare it? I'd love some recipes! I don't start Mushies for another 2 weeks but I want to be prepared.

They have no fat, no sugar, no calories, and less than 1g of carbs. Hopefully I have offered something to all of you. I am definitely going to ask my doctor about this. Thanks everyone

I was banded on Wednesday and I have been an emotional wreck! I heard this is normal and the pain medication can contribute to these emotions but has anyone else experienced this? I am crying endlessly!

I have a 10cc band with 3cc put in during surgery

Did you have any cc's filled into your band during surgery? I'm just curious. My doctor filled mine 3cc's during my surgery on Wednesday.

That's wonderful! I wish I didn't have an interest in food. I'm 2 days post op and I am starting to crave food. I don't know if it's hunger or habit though but chicken breast, an omelette, egg salad.. It just sounds delicious!

Today I'm feeling much better! Yesterday (day 2) wasn't fun. Today I haven't taken a pain pill and I'm able to move much easier. Gas pains are also subsiding too. There's light at the end of the tunnel I promise!

Well, I was banded yesterday! It's crazy to think that after all of that prep and research I am now part of the banded community!! So far not too too bad. I'm in some pain and discomfort. The gas pains are terrible- it brings me to tears because its difficult to breathe, but when I move around it helps! What a surreal feeling... My new life has already begun!!!

So I'm 2 days away from surgery and I've had a stuffy nose. I woke up this morning feeling slightly more congested I guess from post nasal drip all night long. I'm better now, just a runny nose and feeling like I have to cough a little but no phlegm. I'm thinking it's more allergy related hit is rather be safe. I'm allowed Tylenol- I read I line Tylenol cold is ok before surgery. You think that's ok to take? I'm scared they'll cancel my surgery if I'm sick.

I know.. I'm actually scared what they're gonna say..

I've been taking Zyrtec and using my Neti pot Andover so think it's helping. I was thinking about Tylenol cold since I'm allowed Tylenol...

I'm getting banded in Wednesday morning and I have this overwhelming feeling that I am going to fail with the LapBand. I'm so worried that I will be hungry all of the time and I am not going to lose weight... Anyone else feeling this?

I will be banded on Wednesday and I keep coming back here because this is my LapBand home. I feel so comfortable coming here and talking about anything... Asking questions, getting advice, or just venting. Also reading what others are saying and being able to help them or just share my thoughts and opinions helps. Its our judgement free zone and i love it. I'd be lost without this site.

I bought them because I heard they were good and I wound up not liking them. I'm now stuck with 6 lbs of it, and although I am not a fan, I'm going yo make my self enjoy it. I may buy some sugar free syrup flavoring a to add to it.
