Hi my name is Alaina and I had my lab band surgery November 16,2012. I weighed 265 pounds and I was in a size 22 pushing a 24. it has been 7 months since my surgery and i am now in a size 14 in pants and I weigh 190 pounds. it feels great to go shopping for clothes and know that I can fit into juniors clothes!! If you put in the effort and get your fills when you are supposed to then you will see results. The lap band works and I am the proof!!

I'm taking peptides bismal tablets whenever i need to and it has been helping

I have a little patch behind my right ear but i don't know how long it will last

The only medicine he gave me was liquid loratab

Help, it's been 48 hours since my surgery....I've been in bed all day and i was feeling fine. Until i got out of bed and started to feel very nauseous....I'm terrified to vomit. What do i do!?!?

I was banded Friday and I'm so sore. I have been laying in bed all day and i have lots of pillows and a heating pad on my belly....it seems to help. Anyone have any good ideas of what i can do for soreness?

I had surgery yesterday and I'm feeling good....I'm sore alot but that's it :-)

4 days down 10 more to go!! So.excited....i have so much energy now!!!!

I got the Italian ices SF of course but I'm ok I'm keeping a journal to release my feelings into....how are you and your husband doing?

Me too girl I'm trying there have been times that i have had a few crackers to ease my stomach pain but it's so hard. How much are you trying to lose on your band?

I'm on day 2 also and it's so hard all i can do is smoke my cigarettes twice as much

I'm on day 2 of the 14 day pre-op diet so far so good
