  1. Banter I'm so glad your doctor got you straight!
  2. I don't think a fill or unfill determines yor loss. Correct me if I am wrong but loss itself is determined by your calorie intake and you exercise.
  3. Ty very much no reflux right now but think I have stomach bug on top of everything else. It surely could be worse.
  4. Just wanted to point out that not everyone needs a fill. Some don't get filled at all, some a little and some take more. Everyone can be different.
  5. Needed an unfill.
  6. Just saying you all don't know everyone else's challenges including if someone has been through therapy or anything else. Please keep your comments to the questions at hand. You may not know or understands someone else's struggles.
  7. Piece of advice. Take what you can use and ignore the comments you know are useless. You will never win if you spend any energy on know it alls.
  8. I took adderhal and for me it was a miracle drug but not because of my appetite. I had terrible side affects and had to stop. It took months of trying similar meds to find one that works. I am now on ritilan. It's not as good as the adderhal but I don't think I could do a well back on my band without it.for me it's the focus and it makes me not so impulsive. I call it my no voice I never had before. I have lost 29 lbs since starting back and following the drs guidelines. Since the end of October. I would never ever advocate taking a drug like adderhal for the sole purpose of an appetite suppressant.
  9. I resisted my band not sure why. I just got very serious since October and only wish I had done so when first done. Definately glad I have it. It's a matter of adapting .
  10. Most of the time I get stuck not to much pain just keep burping up what I ate and if doesn't go down on its own usually comes back up. I was also told papaya enzymes for a stuck.
  11. So I slept with my head propped up some. I feel litle better this morning. I am able to drink which is huge and probably could eat if I really want to. I do have a little heartburn and have burped a few times. I feel better today then I did the entire day yesterday. Thanks for the advice.
  12. Thanks a bunch!
  13. Thanks I have an appointment set. I understand could be too full what I don't understand is why just in morning. Rest of the day I eat solids no problem and I'm hungry. If they unfill I am worried the hungry times will get worse.
  14. Thankyou for replying . I can only hope you are wrong because there is no surgery anytime in the future for me. This only started with my fill 3 weeks ago. How would that happen?
  15. Merry Christmas, I think I might have reflux, but not sure. I have a doctors appointment in a couple days. I was wondering if some of you can tell me how reflux affected you and your experiences with reflux and the band. For example when it started what are some of the symptoms? I am having trouble mostly when I wake up. Today I feel like i have heartburn and not hungry. I have to make sure my medicines go down before trying to eat anything. I usually dont eat Breakfast until lunch and then lunch at dinner ect. I am able with no problem to eat solids for my meals. Please share I will really appreciate it. I also cannot eat anytihng too soon before my bed time. Sometimes I wake up tasting vomit but I dont actually vomit. Please me nice this is really hard for me to share. Thanks, Helen
  16. I just want to say to everyone that you have to remember its hard to tell intent when you are only communicating through words. No tone or facial expressions. It might seem like someone means one thing when they really dont. Either pm them to verify, block or move on. Take what you can from the forum and leave what you dont want. I have decided most the people I thought were catty or rude did not intend to come across that way a lot of the times. The ones that are obvious and want to argue still a lot of times have good suggestions. If you absolutely can handle it avoid the posts all togther there are lots of other support groups on line and in person.
  17. You can have hot chocolate. There are diet and sugar free even can top it off with ff whip topping. I think swiss miss has a 25calorie one. Enjoy!
  18. Again it's just to show how different our drs can be. Always follow your drs guidelines or ask questions if you want to change.
  19. The chews are carbonate. I was told by dr and nutritionist that we need citrate.
  20. Funny I saw that episode last night!
  21. What about calcium? I was told has to be 1200 of calcium citrate. I have found them very expensive and was told have to separate dose into at least 2 or more doses. The chews everyone including me seem to like is carbonate not citrate.
  22. So still waiting to hear about the dole shaker?
  23. I hope that those of you who come across so bitchy don't realize that is how it comes across. Someone just wanted your support. And suggestions. If unable to help somebody don't say anything if you are going to be negative. These forums are for support not slapping someone,s face.
