Had 2nd fill on Tuesday, have 4cc now. I can't get any food down. Even Soups were a problem.

I get my first fill tomorrow too..

My surgeon does it under an xray machine, and he numbs it first. He is seeing on screen exactly where needle is going into port.

Went to my 2week post op visit, down 14lbs. Everything good, still have unfilled band, first fill 11/27.

Ok everyone is talking about loosing so much weight, i am a week post op and have only lost 12lbs, my band is not filled, and i am not starving, just hungry at nirmal times. Should I be worried that I have not lost more?

Question for you guys, I was banded on the 25th, my port site is kinda hurting, and it feels really hard under my skin. Is this normal?

Got banded 10/25, down 12, fitting into clothes i haven't worn in a year. Down 22from preop diet.

Shoulder pain way better. Taking my gas pills faithfully. I have already lost visible weight/inches. My clothes is fitting bigger. From when i started my pre op diet to now, have lost 20lbs. I feel good, glue almost all gone from my tummy. How is everyone else?

I am still having pain, but taking gas pills faithfully. It does get better.

I am much better today. CT was normal. Pain is better. And Yay, I am burping.

Thanks for the replies. I called and left them a message. I dont get pain when I bend, its just anytime in any position. Really feels like I need to burp, but I cant burp. Will see what he says. I have high tolerance for pain too, but this really stops me in my tracks. Been using heating pad, and gas pills, but its still there.

I have a question, banded on Oct. 25th, no incision pain, no abdominal pain, I do however have horrible shoulder and left upper chest pain. It comes in waves, and is a sharp pain, usually double over. It doesnt matter if I am walking or laying or sitting, it just comes on. Saw Dr, he unfilled my band, but pain still there. Anyone else have this? Any suggestions?

Congrats! I am trying to avoid my scale too. What part of Dallas you in?

My shoulder pain is bad. Using heating pad and drinking hot tea. Walking does help.

Ok I spoke too soon. Lots of gas pain. Bought baby simethicon drops, but not really helping. Very sore on port site. I dont know how much he put in my band, but can definately have more than 2cc of broth. Also anyone know uf a binder helps? FYI, I ordered nectar, its pretty good. Have only tried ice tea, but not too bad. How is everyone else?

I havent slept all night either. Got banded yesterday too. Got up every hour to walk around the house. Getting in bed and out of bed is the worst. Started using heating pad, and helped gas pain.
