Wow Gen! You look awesome, you and daughter look so much alike now.

Very funny. I have gas all the time. It's embarrassing. I am trying to eliminate foods to see if there is a pattern. I know that some sugar substitutes are to blame for some of the problems. Stevia seems to be the least gassy for me. My Nut said to try a probiotic. I am on my second brand hoping for some relief. I would need to take gas-x all day long.
I welcome any suggestions, a cork is not an option.

Have someone bring it to you the second day. The first day is a little blurry.

You may be referring to melting shredded cheese in the microwave on wax paper.
It comes out like a great little cracker.

My surgery was 12/5/2012. I was 222 day of surgery and yesterday at my 3 month I am 193. It's much slower than I expected. I exercise 4 times a week. I eat per plan.
Dr says because of weight range, height, expect 2/3 pounds a week. I am 57 and I have wrecked my metabolism over years of crazy yoyo diets. I am happy with my progress. It's difficult when you compare yourself with others seeming to be in the same weight range. This is an individual journey, I love the support here.
I joined fitness pal and watch my progress. I think it help keep me honest. Join and friend me.

Day of surgery I was 240 now I'm 197.. I was just wanting to see if people that had surgery around the same time have lost that much .. I don't know if I'm on track or I need to step up what doing...I worry because I can't drink the Protein drinks. Since I had surgery I hate everything sweet and them drinks taste like pure sugar and make me sick. I try to eat a lot of protein in my foods but can only eat a few bites and I'm full... Tks

I am early but I lost 4 pounds this week after a 2 week stall. Wonder/onederland finally. My weight loss is slow. Only 26 pounds in 11 weeks. Total of 41 lost. I have not been in onederland in many years. So thrilled to be here now. The best part is the scale will keep going down. Yes!
-
I finally reached onederland with a 4 pound loss. Yea me! This weight loss is really slow. Much slower than I ever expected. I was 222 at surgery on 12/5/12. So I have lost 26 pounds in 12weeks. I am NOT complaining, just want to share.

There was no post from her. A user profile shows your last log in. Go to the beginning of the thread and click on her user name. It will go to her profile and it records you last log in.
I hop she is ok.
-
I have been thinking about her too. I went to her profile and she last logged on last night. Best wishes and prayers for her recovery. She started this thread and we miss her.

Good Advice from a support group my Dec. people.
Try on you smaller clothes before you think they will fit. You may have a pleasant surprise.

I bought the almond/coconut milk today. I can't wait to try the almond joy Protein Shake. I have not been able to tolerate skin milk and Protein Powder.< /p>
not logging food and still successful long term?

Logging is a tool. There are many tools for success. Measuring, eating slowly, putting the fork down between bites, 35 chews, no snacking, no drinking with meals, stopping when full, eating Protein first. The log is a concrete record of what you eat. I had stopped logging and am now trying to get back to using my fitness pal. I remind myself of these tools for success. We need them to have long term success IMHO.
