Banjo the gas piano I believe she is referring to is the gas the surgeon fills you with during surgery trying to exit your body. Not like a gas bubble you would developer from say a need to toot

No costco in my town it was actually a Greek restaurant work ladies were going to, and I wanted to try to find an acceptable lunch to be able to go with them, I went ahead and got the chicken gyro with no pita and no sauce and got a house dressing instead. (which was mostly vinegar, oil, and spices)

I lost a total of 25 from presurgery to last Thursday, now over the weekend I have gained 2 lbs. I am on mushies, but I can barely eat anything. I am in a panic. I went through hunger and pain and now I want to be on the decreasing side, seeing the scale go back up literally breaks my heart.

I have the Xbox 360 Zumba game. It's a little much with the dipping and bending though but I will be anxious to get back to it.

I put my deductible on care credit and as long as i pay it off by six months there is zero interest

So the little handbook my dietician gave me says I should be getting 45g Protein a day minimum but I am on mushies and I am only running on the best day about 30. Is 45g a long term goal I don't know what to do. I mix whey into Greek yogurt but I can literally only take 4-5 bites at a time before I am full

For me it feels like a break up. With food. I just don't know what to do with myself. And I really want to clean and organize because that is something else that I do when I get all emotional and I can't do much in the way of lifting moving furniture carrying vacuum bend over scrubbing tubs. Must find a new hobby. Was walking when I felt down but it's getting cold today. Grrr

ok ten days post op! I am feeling pretty good today. had an appt wed and the nurse gave me some packages of shake/pudding mixes, but they are not going to sell them any more and I really like them. I had a chocolate one this morning and added PB2 to it, yum! HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

What is more important to all of you? I am obviously watching the scale but I am probably going to base my success in the long run on clothing size and measurements. Does anyone else feel this is more important than the scale to them? I know it will be easy for me to pack on muscle when I get smaller because I did cheer dance and gymnastics as a you g girl and teen and I always had things like big butt and legs big like solid and muscle and would rather gain weight to get the. Tone back than lose weight and still look jiggly

C25k is the couch to 5k plan and it is amazing when I am healed I am doing it no doubt.
It's a program that has you start with a baby workout then work up to 5k over the course of 8 or 9 weeks.

I am 8 days post op and tolerating walking just fine. I am wanting some variations I am nervous about stationary bike because I have really short arms and moving the handles with the bike may stretch me too far. Will doing only the leg portion be ok or is it a waste? Also I have used the shake weight for about a month prior to surgery and would like to get started back with it but wondering if it would be too much shaking. If anyone else have used it you should know the entire upper body gyrates. I must do it alone because I'm pretty sure one of these times my chest is going To smack me in the face and it will be embarrassing. Any other post op exercise that is good to keep up on? I'm so worried about having that dumpy butt look I have seen a lot of bypass people with it and don't know if banders are the same any suggestions for hips lower belly pouch butt area?

The N.P. checked my incisions. Which all looked fine there is some slight bruising on the top of the stitches for my port site but she said that it was not enough to be concerned about. Talked with the dietician and went over the foods I was able to handle the last week so I am now on mushies! Had some baked fish and mashed sweet taters for dinner. It was pretty enjoyable to not drink all my food lol.
I go back in one month for a fill. The dietician warned that closer to to the date I may start to feel more and more hungry but right now hunger is not the problem it's more a mental thing that I FEEL like I'm missing out on something but when it actually comes time to eat I can barely get in enough Protein for the day. today was the most daily calories I've had since surgery and the total was 400. I am tolerating walking well and thinking about getting back to the Y for some elliptical work because its just getting colder and colder every day here in Illinois I know I will not be able to stroll around the block for too much longer.
Does anyone else get the reaction from anyone that the tiny bites and small amount of food you can handle is ridiculous? Many people have said they don't see how I can be healthy on so little

On day 3 post op I also added activia to my diet the doctor told me to avoid the fruit chunks and add a little milk to it if it was feeling too thick
