  1. As of this morning I have lost 54 pounds total. I eat between 800-1000 calories and between 80-100 grams of protein. I eat pretty much anything but always eat my protein first to make sure I can get it in. My daughter's wedding is this weekend, so excited to wear my new dress, with my tummy sucker on too of course! I haven't seen my son since right after the surgery, so I am excited to see his reaction

    Any Pennsylvania Sleevers?

Congrats! I am doing good. I had trouble getting in my liquids and got dehydrated twice, but seem to be doing better now. I have lost 53 pounds so far. My highest weight was 294. Surgery weight was 283. I am now 241. I had my 4 month post op last week and the only thing that was wrong was I have low vitamin A. I am taking lots of vitamin A now! I am losing hair...my advice to you is to get in as much protein as you can as soon as possible. It takes about 3 months for our hair to show that it didn't get enough protein. I am hoping this will end soon! Feel free to ask me any questions you have! Kathy

  8. Lexsan: I can't read what you write unless I highlight it. Maybe it's the color font you have chosen
  9. My appointment went well. He said I was slightly under the expected weight loss for 4 months, but I am not quite 4 months yet. The exercise guy didn't even recognize me, he walked right by me not realizing who I was I need to get moving now that I was ok'd by the cardiologist. There is a gym moving very close to my house, can't wait for them to open!
  10. I talked to the surgeon & the nut, they both said this is normal. Keep your protein high which will help it slow down, but to expect the hair loss until you stop losing. I am going to get my hair cut shorter to help with the regrowth.
  11. this afternoon is my 3 month post-op appointment...a little nervous! I hope he thinks everything is going well! I see the surgeon, the Nut & the exercise guy today...exercise hasn't been as good as I would like...I need to get my butt in gear!!!

  16. My daughter and I went shopping last night for a dress for me for her casual wedding. I have not felt comfortable in a dress for a long time, but this is special. She just picked out some dresses for me and I tried them on. I would have never picked the one I got but it looked great! It was a 1X, haven't seen that size in a very long time!!! The dress I have on in my profile pic is a 4X. I feel so good in this dress. I tried it on when I got home to show my husband and he told me I looked beautiful. I haven't felt beautiful in a very long time. I am so thankful that this tool has been given to me

  21. I was very dehydrated I went to ER on Thursday night. They pumped in 2 bags of IV fluids I feel so much better! My heart rate is still low, but doing pretty good getting liquids in again. I don't know why, the further I get dehydrated, the harder it is to get in my liquids. I have a followup today with my family dr and I go to the cardiologist next friday. I am anxious to see what the holter monitor showed. While I was at the ER, the monitor kept going off because my heart rate was too low
  22. wow Moe, you are doing awesome!!! over half way there!!!!
