    Who has been super successful?

I am 7 weeks post op and have lost 22 since. That is a success. But my biggest success is that I have put away my CPAP machine! That itself is SUPER SUCCESSFUL to me! My hubby says I'm not even snoring a little.

    November bandsters Unite

I will be 7 weeks on Thursday. I had my first fill on Wednesday. 4cc in a 14cc band. Up until last night I felt nothing and I don't think I have any restriction. However, last night I had a handful of chips right before I went to bed. I was way below my calorie intake so I didn't think it was a big deal. Well, I couldn't fall asleep cause it was like they were just sitting in the back of my throat and my chest was uncomfortable. I felt fine today but I am wondering if that is what restriction feels like.

    stuck but no fill yet

I know you don't like mayo but try a little part skim ricotta. That is something I tried when I went to soft foods. It was really good AND the ricotta has protein in it which is a bonus!

I took a Zumba class last night.....

I think that is great, Mrs. CMK. Just moving for that amount of time is a milestone in your journey. I am a spaz and trip walking over lint on the living room floor so Zumba isn't for me at the moment. I try walking 5 days a week and people keep asking how many miles I walk. I honestly don't know and don't care cause I know that I am not as fast as I was 10 years ago. So when they ask me, I tell them it doesn't matter how far I walked but that I did it for a whole 60 minutes without stopping!

    2months

I can see the weight loss and my husband has noticed too and that man is oblivious to EVERYTHING!!! :-) Only 1 or 2 others have noticed. I went to a basketball game yesterday cause my daughter cheers and I saw several people I know but haven't seen in a while and no one said anything. I am still wearing the same clothes but they're all baggy and I wear belts now. I have lost 43 pounds.
  13. I woke up with some discomfort but nothing bad. I took a look and it is one of the small incisions which is now bright red. It also has pus. Obviously my doc isn't in and it is not worth going to the ER. Should I put some Neosporin on it until I speak with them on Monday? I am scheduled for my first fill on Wednesday.

Actually, that is why he told me to cover it. I got blood and pus on 2 different bras. :-(

    Infected stitch/5 weeks out

Hi, Ladies. I just called the doc. Apparently this isn't uncommon with dissolvable stitches. When I go in Wednesday they may go under the skin to do some kind of extraction. Ewwww. But for now he said to use Neosporin and keep it bandaged. Thanks for all of your replies!

    Infected port site. Crap.

I go on Wednesday and will find out what to do about my infection as well.
