  1. I agree 100% with AngelEyes. My experience with R4AC was positive on all fronts. I was sleeved January 4, 2013. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Good luck. Remember to walk walk walk. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. FWIW, I'm feeling better and better. So the extra day might not be necessary. Amazing how much improvement in just a few hours. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. If I could do this over, I would add one extra day at the hotel after the surgery. I'm feeling a bit lousy and would love an extra day before getting on an airplane. By lousy I mean headache, bloated hands and feet, achey belly. Very hard to sleep. Like mild case of the flu. My surgery was 3 days ago. Ps I've taken nearly a full box of Gas-X Strips in last 18 hours. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. Little not loudly. Yeesh. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. So far so good. Very loudly gas pain. Very pleased with MiDoctor team and Dr Garcia. Finally on ice chips. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. Thank you for your kind words of support. Today is the big day. We head to the hospital in 3.5 hours. I rode in from the airport with two gals - one had lost 200 pounds in less than a year with VSG and was here to help her friend. Helps me to keep an eye on the prize. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. All the best to you. You're very brave. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. I've begun my travel to TJ. Will be there on the 3rd. Yipes! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  10. How are everyone's feet doing? I have to admit mine are getting cold. I know the folks who discourage my surgery are doing so because they love me and worry something bad will happen. A nurse told my sister she wouldn't recommend it because "so many people gain the weight back." Ugh. It is scary. But I really need to change this fat life. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Why do I think I'll back out? Fear. Money. Change. I'm booked for Jan. 4 in Mexico, so I plan to take a deep breath and do it. I like your determination. "Just never give up". Good plan. Very good plan. Are you staying local or traveling? Got a date set yet?

Hey Heyher, What questions did you have? Are you pre- or post- op? I'm pre-op and worried, excited, and afraid I'll back out at last minute. Good luck to you. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. Amazing! You look great. What's the story on those shoes? So cute and sexy. Would you have worn shoes like that a year ago? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  14. Can anyone say "Starr Jones"? But seriously folks. I slipped and told two of my dearest friends. I don't know what I was thinking. Indifferent responses from both. I wish I could take it back. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  15. Thanks for the info. Also, someone had put antibacterial soap on a list of things to pack for the hospital and hotel stay.
  16. On YouTube Dr. Alvarez does a weekly video. His topic this week is the dreaded stall. It's a really good explanation and should help you feel a little bit better. (no, I don't work for him) Sent from my iPhone using VST
  17. We are lucky to have sleeve at start of new year. What a time for a great new beginning. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Not to minimize your concern, but there seems to be an oversupply of negative energy the last few days - on both sides. I know I feel heartbroken on top of normal holiday and VSG stress. I feel a strong kinship with everyone here. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  19. You deserve to look good. Why not put on some nice duds and go grocery shopping - just by yourself. Give it a trial run. I have empathy with your feelings. I have some nice jewelry I don't wear. Nothing flashy. I just don't feel worthy. How dumb is that? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  20. It's so great. I hope you make another entry soon! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  21. I think an eating plan is sent with the emails when you first get started. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  22. I think you already know the answer to this question. Good luck to you. You are stronger than you know. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  23. Well done! You are a cutie.
  24. Holy cow. This was today - and you were felling well enough to post to your blog?! Thank you, thank you.
  25. January 4 for me as well. I just paid the deposit and bought the plane ticket. No backing out now! Here's to a successful outcome to all the January sleevers. Sent from my iPhone using VST
