  1. Any purple bras??? I love wearing sexy underwear, especially when it isn't covered by a roll of fat. :guess
  2. What's up with the gag order? Hmm..... Duct tape, indeed. I will be swimming laps today when I take 5 kids to the movies and the pool. Am I nuts or what??? I used to have a day care home, but I was under 30 then. We'll see if my old grandma bones can keep up.
  3. Kathy, If you just can't get the hang of that loop, try chaining 2 and then do the single crochets in the 2nd chain from the hook. There might be a bit more of a hole in the top, though. The loop you can tighten has a very nice result, but is difficult to learn.
  4. Walked the dog, husband and grandson for 30 minutes. Swam laps for 20. Very happy with my start.
  5. Teresa! That is a terrific loss. Between the fill and working and making hats, you are on it big time! Congratulations!
  6. WOW! That is soooo fantastic! Congratulations! :Bunny Gotta run....need to drink more water!
  7. I used to watch tv on my recumbent bike. It works great. Pick something you like or put in a movie and pedal away. I moved mine to the bedroom, though, so I need another tv -- yeah right. My son is supposed to give me an old portable dvd player so I can use that for movies. I think you'll like the bike, Leatha. They are very comfortable.
  8. Yeah, Betty and Teresa are cold, too! Really, I do feel sorry for you peeps who are in the icy regions. It must be hard to exercise when your nasal passage freeze over. Ouch! Be sure to wear your hats!
  9. Wow, Melissa! That is fantastic! Feels good, doesn't it? :Bunny Well, I dropped 2 pounds this week! Yahoo! My doctor told me I need to eat less. :devious Since I can't go off Nexium he said I'm either eating too fast or too much or I'm too tight. He didn't remember that I have no fill. At least he is paying better attention. He will probably check things out later if it doesn't improve. For now it is fine as long as I stay on the meds.
  10. You guys just don't understand how the air is different in DeLarla's part of the country -- and mine. Or maybe just how smart we are not to live in the frozen wastelands. Off I go to exercise, options and all.
  11. Thanks, Greg. Whether you get a chart or just a list of stats, it will be great. Congratulations on the news about becoming a grandpa! When will that be? That is awesome. :Bunny We are freezing up in No. CA too, Lisa. It got down to 48 degrees. Brrrr.... That ocean breeze feels real cold. My friends are loving the hats. I think we might have to wait for the spring thaw for that nude photo.
  12. What a cute picture, Vera. Does the hat fit your daughter all right? I can make another one if she needs it a little longer. Thanks for posting the picture. I sure am grateful to Teresa for starting my hat-making craze. It has been a real help with the night-time munchies. I would be happy to make hats for anyone Teresa hasn't promised one to already. Just pm me with color and style you would like. I make the rolled brim one with furry trim or the crusher style Teresa introduced. I made one with ear flaps and ties for a friend and might try that style again, too.
  13. Glad you got out on the bike, Betty. You are really making progress.
  14. Alcohol is a stomach irritant. It can bother your new pouch just like coffee. It won't harm you band directly. Most people think it is fine in moderation.
  15. So this is what's coming for all of us! I think it's great we can still enjoy these kinds of things. It's too bad it's so hard to get back out of the carb cravings once we dip into them. I feel for you, Alex.
  16. You are a brave girl, Marie. You actually went to the dentist. That counts for courage in my book. I walked for 30 on the treadmill. And checked out another workout place. Boy, if you could just have good intentions, I'd be one skinny woman!
  17. See how they all fall for your devious plan, Greg? They can hardly exercise with all the visions of your hairy arse in their heads. (Is that a bad word?) I will not be distracted from my goal. But I still expect to see the Speedo shot posted right about when the post-holiday blues set in. The pool where I used to work out got rid of the Step Mill torture device. I will probably join a gym that has a couple of them. I worked out on the treadmill for 30, though, trying to undo some potato chip damage from last night. :rolleyes
  18. Jodie, that must be too cool wearing one of those short skirts. If I were 20 years younger, I'd give it a shot. Great NSVs.
  19. Congratulations! That's a great start.
  20. I think the "full" feeling is more of a satisfied feeling. I get the full feeling in my throat often. I have a very sensitive esophagus. My doctor thinks I may eat too much. I usually eat between quarter and half a cup of food. Some foods I can eat a bit more. Be sure you get a bit of an unfill, then try eating a bit less. Hope it gets easier soon.
  21. Geez, I just wanted to race...you girls are just plain racy! Well, I guess Greg started it.
  22. Wow, Shelly! I'll take a pair of those. The ones you have, I have the pair on that next lady.
  23. Up and down the ladder again today. I HATE painting. I'm pretty sure I'll hate laying the floor even more. DH is a retired flooring contractor -- so he REALLY hates it, but he'll do most of that part. Poor man.... I think this is all the exercise I can handle right now.
  24. Okay...no money and no porn. I just can't wait to get started! Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be exercising anyway. :guess I see my doctor Friday and will be able to tell him I have started a regular program now. Oh, Greg, how's the legs?
  25. You are moving up now! I hope the fill gives you what you need to keep on with your great progress. I'm glad it went so well for you this time.
