@Sweetgagr100, I love what it says on the back of the shirt that is great & you look good , good for you , but I really want that shirt so cool.

Lol , I am laughing because we do have a break room with a fridge & I can hardly take my regular breaks & the Water fountains & restrooms are a little walk from the Deli so there for I just wait till lunch or when I am going home & drink my Water bottle but if I am feeling a bit sluggish I will take a break to get that Water because I know when I am getting dry mouth & my heart starts beating fast , so I get that water & it helps.

@ Alex I couldn't see the picture all I got was your emoji & a ? Mark , but yes NO food or drinks behind the counter or in are deli fridges or coolers where we store our products or if we get caught drinking Water in our Deli WE can get written up or Fired.

I work in retail in the Deli at a supermarket/ Grocery store, but I work in the Deli department.

It's just hard when I'm working because I can't have my water bottle close enough to me , however when it's lunch time I try to get in 20 ounces since it's a hour lunch but sometimes I can't , I need to find a way & get it worded just right for a letter that my Surgeon said he would state that I have to have Water close by me so I don't get dehydrated while working to my Employer & Boss , so I am open to some helpful suggestions & yes they know I have had wls (banded).

Let's see they have concerts in the parks out here in California so I will be dancing my rear end off lol , that will be some exercise & walking of course , also catching up with some High school friends at dinner parties & at the beach which I don't care for , also going out to some dance clubs & since the Holidays started in I say April till December , I will be working a lot , so being busy & trying to budget finances since I really don't know how to but have to now because some of my family have had cut backs in their hrs & pay so it's time to bear down & not be so frivolous , I also have to buy either shorts & a tank top or try & fit in to a one piece bathing suit that one I am dreading , haven't had to buy a suit in like 6 years ,

Please post in General Wls forum & in the Men's or Ladies rooms only also , maybe then more people will join

I wasn't brave enough to cut my hair for years , now after surgery 3 years later people were talking about how much weight I had lost & noticed the difference in my clothes & started commenting & I have even had some guys say that they couldn't see my face because of my hair also I started getting real bad headaches , & I needed a change for my self so I cut it.

I did my research and have had Family & friends that have had all different wls so I did my research & went to 3 different seminars to make sure of what I wanted & I watched & talked with these people family & friends to know what the differences were and what they had to do , so the ones I knew that were close I asked them what care their Surgeons had , then I looked up the surgeons to find out MY Surgeon only had one death and it was not because of his care it was because the person was not honest about their health and it was on the news , also one of the Seminars I went to the Surgeon wanted $8.000.00 out of pocket & up front before he would even consider me , so I asked a friend I know & I went to her Surgeon & have been making payments , also I didn't like the idea of either rerouting or part of my insides (Stomach) being taken out , the Band is reversible so if anything would have happened I could have it taken out , so that's why I chose MY Surgeon & I am VERY HAPPY I MADE THE CHOICE to have the band.

Unfortunately WE do have to learn to eat a LOT more slowly & chew any bite of food till it's like mush , I am 3 years out & I still have to chew like that , even when I eat something soft like yogurt , I have to let it sit until it's consistency of liquid until I can take another bite & if there is fruit added or granola , I still have to eat that way & if I eat at a restaurant , I have to put my fork, knife & spoon which ever it is I'm using down between bites & I ask for a glass of Tea NO sugar or Water just in case but I always ask for a to go container & cup because I know I won't finish, also YOU may want to mention to YOUR SURGEON that food keeps getting stuck that's what they are for to help YOU , if you need some answers.

Which app there are a few so let people know it might help them also .

This is just a suggestion look up bariatric timer & then you can set it over & over it helped me to know when I could drink after eating, It also told me when I should eat but I pretty much know that by now LOL , like I said it's just a suggestion , I had it on my phone for a good while , I'm not sure if you can get it on a computer of some sort .

@ Julie Norton Thank YOU , I have been getting a lot of that & I color my own hair , but I don't cut my own but a LOT of people are saying , I look younger , I love it .

Most of us like the idea of NOT having our insides rerouted or part of our stomachs taken out , that & just being able to do things that we couldn't do before being banded like breathing easily , standing having energy or & some hygiene issues lol , I did lol because some of the stuff you may read about what us banders seriously couldn't do is SO true , so I hope I'm not posting this to late , I am going to post a couple pictures one is like almost 3 years & then the last 1 will be what I look like presently the very last one I am second from the left , so whatever wls YOU choose good luck on YOUR choice , for ME , I am glad & SO HAPPY I CHOSE TO be banded & like other people have said follow rules & information from YOUR Surgeon & YOU should be good, good luck.

Thank you everyone , you supporters are why I stay in touch on here & for me to be reminded I am doing good , the people I know & talk to tell me all the time or the ones that know me but haven't seen me in awhile , like I said I still till this day don't see it but when I take pictures or selfies then I see it.

@Go walking Thank You , it was time for a change I have never had my hair this short , bangs yes but never the back.

Ok let's see if I can post one of a before & till Now yes it is the same person ME , wow everyone was telling me , I can see my face is smaller & I see the top of ME is smaller , I didn't see it till I really looked at these pictures .

O.k. I think I posted this in some other places but I will post here also that is what I looked like by now the first one is me getting photo bombed taking a selfie by my youngest before going out second one you can see I'm second from the left with a cover band that I am able to sing & dance to enjoying this weekend .

Just taking some selfies before going out & I finally changed my hair weight has been changing in 3 years so I thought since weight is changing why not the hair finally since I haven't cut my hair like in probably 6_8 years so here I am & the second one I'm second from left.

I was talking a selfie & my youngest photo bombed me.

This is a cover band but here is what I am looking like at a 170 lbs the shirt is loose on the bottom to hide well you know stomach , I am the one second from the left.

@@gowalking , of course we understand , I mean they are NOT supposed to discriminate for whatever reason that Society thinks , but everyone does in their own way it sucks .

For a moment I was thinking here we go our outreach & supporters that we started with or got to know on the site were leaving little by little , I only see a few , it's this what it has come to , because WE are out doing our stuff since we can move easier now well , I still check in because I still need to .

Just a hint freeze the Jello or pudding sugar free of course, & stick with the sugar free popsicles & shake it will be so worth it ,for me even almost 3 years out I keep in mind what I went through & how much it cost , or things I was not able to do but can now , follow your Surgeons orders & before you know it you will love the choice you made to be banded.
