Hey All, Welcome Jessica! Missing being able to post but boy howdy are we working our bunzzzzz off! We do finally have the big house listed but all of the tasks are far from being finished. My Mom is here from Wyoming so I plan on stopping at my sisters house this AM for a short visit and then to the house for some more deep cleaning as they can officially show it now. I have a bunch of bins awaiting UNpacking here at the cabin but we need to figure our more storage option before I can even start that task! My Ex is making all of this especially difficult. I imagine I will be getting a notice for mediation in the mail any day. On the bright side... Em is really excited about starting school and all at her new school have been so friendly and helpful...even the kids! We had a great time school shopping even though the plastic is stretched to the max! SHerry... I'm with you... glad my daughter doesn't feel the need to have the 80 dollar jeans... but it still adds up at 24-30 bucks a pair. Two pairs of glasses and three pairs of shoes AND her first make-up kit... whew... somebody show me the money! Anyhoo... guess I had better jump in the shower so that I can give my Mom a clean hug and then head over to sweat my arse off! Hugs to all... Darcy

Hey All, Somebody bonk me on the head the next time I mention moving. I feel like we are the stars of "Flip this House" and we don't have the film crew or the help!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I am sitting with my hubby in front of the travel lodge so that we can get a connection... he just informed me he has to "GO"... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... I thought I was going to get to catch up! Mornin All! Laundry... Wow... for once in my life I have never been so caught up on the eternal pile! Oh... and you know the socks we all save hoping to find the match one day??? Well... I had a whole basket of the boogers and I *gasp* tossed them in the garbage! I'm tired of painting... cleaning... sorting... packing... unpacking... donating... *deep breath* BUT... I love the feeling of getting rid of crap! I didn't realize how full of crap I was....hehehehe. Patty... I do have dial-up at the cabin... after having Road Runner... it seems SOOOOOOOOOOOO slow...lol. Anyhoo... I can always run to town and sit at the bowling alley or the library and connect to their wireless for browsing. I know one day your heart will sing as you snuggle into your own cabin. I mean seriously... look at what you went through to get your band... you can make anything happen! Betty... You are sooooo right... it is a really good feeling to get rid of the junk in our trunk! I sure wish we lived closer... I'd coming over to jump in that beautiful pool to Celebrate "letting go"! Please tell Irene I am thinking of her if you talk to her again soon. I sure miss her posts and I will be sending "job finding" vibes her way! Mandy... My sister had a tummy tuck after her gastric bypass... not an easy surgery... not an easy recovery... but she felt it was worth the pain for the gain... or rather loss. Take care of yourself... you are the only you you have! Sherry... Girl... you work too hard! I can hardly wait to see your tattoo!!!!! Can't we have a wittle peek???? We need a double tattoo showing featuring you and Mandy! I'm supposing your son must be all healed from his accident by now...yes???? Eileenie... Hey All... Boy...I don't think I have ever been this far behind with theh Jersey group! It's been crazy!!!!!! We are in the midst of trying to move and get our big home ready to sell. Between painting and packing and cleaning and trying to figure out how we are going to manage switching from 2300 sf to 900 sf... yikes. As of August 15th the cabin will be our official home... now... the hard part.... telling my daughter when she returns from her vacation with her Dad in California. We just can't afford to have both places with no gaurantees on CHuck's work contract being renewed. SOOOOOO... back to dial-up internet... small spaces... and quite frankly... a lifestyle that I couldn;t love more. :eek: It sounds like everyone is doing pretty well... congrats on the 100 pound mark Kat! Eileenie... you crack me up... all of that exercise and you will build enough muscle to sink like a rock! Betty... (((hugs))) bet your garden is so pretty now! Mandy... wishing you a speedy recovery! Unfortunately...no internet or telephone or cable up in them there hills! I am also having a nervous breakdown about my step-daughter's wedding... so I really need the peace that the cabin brings. I'm so sorry I have obviously missed so much while I have been away... I pray that life is handing out enough good stuff to make the hard stuff easy to handle. (((hugs))) Betty... I sure thought about you when all of the storms and flooding were hitting Texas... glad to see you are okay. Eileenie... Beanie... Mandy... Kat... Pat... Mr. Pat... Chris... Diane... SHerry... Hey Guys... Sorry I have been absent! We close on the cabin this Friday and had to regroup after the mortgage company we chose and were supposedly preapproved with came back with a "no go" after we were under the impression that it was an all clear. We secured through our long time bank... it was worth a wee higher interest rate. I've already pretty much moved in...lol. I am also packing all of my sister's stuff so it has been pack it up ...unpack... then pack some more! Chuck's Dad is really sick now... they are placing a g-tube today as he can't keep food or fluids down. He is literally skin and bones. He has 7 more days of treatment. Kat... I am so sorry for what you and your hubby are going through! My prayers and many (((hugs))) are with you! Betty... Yikes...I swear... the storms in the US are just getting worse and worse! I am glad that you didn't lose any trees! Patty... I am so happy for you! unjury is a great Protein powder... honestly... it is the best. You can find it at unjury.com. I had a small mouse rescue going on in the 1st grade... my mean family was always trying to kill them and flush them or poison them... me... I would find nests of the pink little wriggly mice and would do everything possible to keep my mean old family from finding them. Most likey I was leading them right to them everytime...lol. I have been hanging around ebay looking for stuff for the cabin... darn... all of the good stuff just goes so high there now! Cindy... Good luck setting up your scrapbooking stuff... you need to make time for that now for sure! My sister just loves scrapbooking... me... all of my stuff is in a box and will probably stay there...lol. I also have oddles of rubber stamps that will probably stay in like-new condition...lol. Eileenie...hope you weathered the storm okay! Betty... Sorry about the storms but glad your party still turned out okay! Irene... You better take some errr... evacuation meds now if you plan on eating that much cheese! They are buying a house and a barn that will be for the business which means they need to sell their regular home as well... yep... they are going to be BUSY! I am totally thrilled! I think most of us are animal lovers so we have that in common already! Congrats on having more home time with your babies... nothing is more important than that. Hey all... Sorry about being absent! We are trying to get everything worked out for purchasing the cabin. I'm also helping my sister with the gathering of info for the business she and her hubby are starting. So... it looks like we will qualify for the loan and we have all of the information for starting the process starting the escrow process... hopefully it will be ours soon! I can hardly wait! Oh Oh Oh... Irene... I traded a walking foot (quilting foot for a sewing machine) for the sleigh. I was going to give it to her for her b-day... so now I will have to give her her Christmas present for her B-day...lol. Hope the Disney Chicks have fun! OKay... off to talk with my hubby more as we are getting together with my Sis and BIL tomorrow to discuss the fine details and get the paperwork together and ready to submit. (((hugs)))

Hiya Patty... Glad you had such a great Easter! I had to go back and look at the pictures to see what you were talking about...lol. That is all of my sister's stuff and unfortunately she will be taking most of it when she sells the cabin. That cabinet is actually some type of food bin I think... the has anohter one down in the basement with toys in it. SHe is great with home decor and has the best ideas for using old items in new ways. CIndy... Congratulations... hope Onederland is all you dreamed it would be! (((hugs)))

Hey All... Back from Cabinland! It was WONDERFUL having indoor plumbing once again and this time I actually ventured into the whirlpool tub...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I think we are going to buy it... we really do love it there... the problem will be getting me to stay home... ever. Sherry... Loved your angel! If you ever do them to sell I'll be putting my order in for a dragonfly. Betty... Snow... WOW...lol... I actually thought of you when we watched the news and they told of snow in Texas...lol. Hey All... Thought I had better pop in and wish everyone a Happy Easter! THings are a tad nutso right now... challenges with Em and her grades... Chuck's Dad and the starting of his chemo and radiation and the workings to try and afford the purchase of my sister's cabin. His Dad is going to help us a bit since it was an unexpected opportunity. We are going up to spend the weekend again to decide if we are absolutely sure... but I think we are. I luv ya's... and welcome to out new NJ chicklette! Pat.. hope you heal quickly! My port site remained sore for a number of weeks... they ended up giving me a muscle relaxant to ease the muscle spasms. Eventually... you will probably have a blonde moment like mine...
