I have this fear that when you look at my front I will be skinny and then around and my butt will be the same size it is now. Lol

I got some drinks at Sams they are less than 150 calories. I had a hard time with my protein because I am not a big sweet eater. Even though they had less than 5 grams of sugars they were sweet.

I am 5 weeks post op and I felt the same also. I promise it will get better. I felt like I would never have any energy and some days I still feel tired. Good luck!

I know it is frustrating to see the scales not move but u are still healing. It hasnt been 2 weeks yet. I promise u will lose. Also can u try a protein drink that doesnt have so many calories?

That is awesome! I am also doing 1000 to 1200 day. I got my first gym membership and I am ready to start working out.

I was banded 9/12. I have lost 30 pounds. I had my first fill Monday. He out 2cc's but is was too much. I go back in a month to see the dr again, but I am HUNGRY

See if you can get a rx for zofran. It was a life saver. Lol. But watch out, it will constipate you

I woke up from surgery w a stomach ache and lived on zofran for about 3 weeks. I sill have a few times where I dont feel well. I had my surgery 5 weeks ago. Its a lot better now.

That is awesome! I have heard people say they watched what they ate and others ate what they wanted just smaller portions. How did u do it? What kind of exercise did you do?

So glad I found this page and know I am not the only one feeling like I do. I had my band on 9/12. I lost 10 pounds pre op and 20 since surgw. The first few weeks the scale would not move one bit. I was starting to wish I had not had the surgery. It finally started moving but I went for my first fill and 2 cc was to much so he took some out. I am starving. I want to cry thinking that I have to wait a month. And what if he gives me another fill and its still to much?

I know. I like knowing someone else from Alabama is on here. I didnt cut out caffeine and carbonated drinks until 2 weeks before my surgery. Of all the things I miss diet dr pepper is the thong i miss the most. Everyone says water quenches your thirst, no ddp. Lol. The only problem I really have had was nausea and constipation. Oh and GAS.. lol. I didnt ever think the gas was ever going to get out of me. I woke up from surgery w a stomach ache end i still get one. Even if i havent eaten. They gave me a rx for zofran and I didnt know it caused constipation. I tried everything and nothing helped. I also have IBS so that didnt help anything. Lol. So with time and myralax(sp), stool softner and a rx for ibs-c I am finally starting to feel normal. Its good u are starting ur vitamins now. I have a hard time remembering to take them. I was told to take my daily vit and calcium an hour apart so I always forget. When I first had my surgery I was thinking what have I done. Its football season and then the holidays, but I am glad I did it.

Where do u get the candied ginger? I have a rx for zofran but dont really want to take it.

I had the surgery 9/12 and I have lost 30 pounds. My family is supportive but I have a few people I wish did not know. I think some people get jealous and the only way to make them self feel better is to cut you down. You are doing great!

I do live in the birmingham area. I live in Leeds just out side of Bham. I had to do the 6 mo " diet" also. Crazy. Lol. I had my first fill Monday. He put 2cc in but it was to much. He took out .5 and I am hungry. I have to wait a month for another fill;( Any questions u have dont hesitate to ask. I will try my best to answer.

Try Cato of u have one close by. The clothes there are pretty reasonable. I bought a a few sleeveless shirts off clearance for $3 and a black sweater to put over them. I love Cato.
