I know everyone is different but i have 4.5cc in my 10 cc band and feel nothing 1 day after my second fill. I was tight yesterday and stayed on liquids but today Im normal again. So those of you with 10cc band how many cc's did it take to get to your green zone

I am close to having the same situation. Banded 9/20 lost 28 lbs. Last 2 wks only lost 2 lbs. Got my second fill today and i think this will help.

I made egg drop soup! Also get cream of chicken soup and thin it down

Today was my second fill. It was more painful than the first and Im sore. I hope Im not gonna get an infection. Anyway i have 4.5 cc in my 10cc band now. I can tell the difference this time. I hope this feeling lasts longer than 1 day this time.

Me too. They even chipped my tooth. 2 yrs ago i had another surgery that they busted my top and bottom lip and scratched down my throat. This time other than the chipped tooth they damaged something in the back of my throat and my burps wouldn't pass my throat.. It took a month to heal

Although your not hungry be sure to have a protein drink if allowed.

Because it is sewn in under the skin and is healing. My port isn't under my scar but much lower. I thought it was directly under but is not. You have to heal inside too. I figure our body has to get used to a foreign body inside. Mine hurt too. As it healed it felt strange to move around like i was tugging at it.

Me too. I go for my second fill Tuesday. I will let you know if its better. I am tight late night and mornings til about noon. After that i could eat a cow!

I came out of surgery with one in the same spot. It was strange . I questioned doc and found that was where they placed a heat strip to warm me during surgery. The rash inched like crazy and lasted a month! Nothing helped

I too am a cancer surviver. I didn't do lapband til 2 yrs post surgery removal but those 2 yrs of putting down cigs and having a hysterectomy caused a great deal of my weight gain. I think the best thing out of it all is living.. We survived... I wish you the best..

I can't have sugar. I was diabetic type 2 but if i eat something with a lot of grams of sugar I will feel sick

I agree its gas. It will get better with walking and water

I use him. Never been to her. He is a wonderful surgeon . He doesn't just do diet surgery. My husband is having gastric next week from him. Maybe i will see u there. Tell him mildred wise referred you

They put fluid in the band during surgery so that at your first fill they suck it out and measure it to see if any leaked. They put 3cc in my 10cc band on first fill. I go back next week ( 2 weeks later) for second fill. I want him to just pump me up and lets work backwards lol. I haven't felt much restriction or lost any weight this week. I will add that if i get up at night and try a bite of food it will not go down. During the day Im ok. Starving in the evenings

I had my first fill last Tuesday. I felt tight the first day, kinda like after surgery. Day 2 til now its fine but i need to ne filled again.. I can eat anything if i wanted to. No pain during the fill. Good luck ladies!

Fyi. My gas and shoulder pain started until day 7 for some reason. It lasted 5 days on and off. Felt like stabs under my left arm in my ribs, in my neck and down my arm.

Y'all Will get better every day. Both normal for having the surgery. Try to roll on your side and tuck a pillow so u can sleep half on your side
