  2. Our stories are similar even up to the amount of weight loss with the band, I never wanted the sleeve tho Your not alone in this journey. I have a tentative revision date of 3/26. I wish u and all of us the best. The failure with the lap band was a huge blow for me. I need to be successful this time! Good Luck

  4. Depends...how long would u be off and would u have vacation, sick or FMLA to cover u. I think I would start working, work hard, never miss a day ( to prove my worth) then say I need surgery I will b off they may be more understanding. Best Wishes
  5. I read some people lose their appetite and some don't. I'm praying I do . That would make things much easier

  7. I had a IV. I was put to sleep it was really quick I had no pain at all but was really sleepy the rest of the day

  11. I lost about 20 lbs and gained it back plus because of me having to take the Fluid out due to reflux. I basically weigh the same as when I started this journey 2 years ago. It works great for some people and then u have us unlucky ones.
  12. Yesterday I went to the doc had my last weigh in, got all of my surgery info, pre and post op diets, consent form... My case will be submitted to the insurance company tomorrow! Please cross your fingers and toes for me

  18. LOL! I felt like this too, but I'm having my basement remodeled and that project is a HUGE one and it's keeping me very busy. It will be here before you know it!
  19. (HUGS) your not alone. We have had some very similar experiences. I got a lapband in 2011. The lab band is adjustable and everytime I get a "fill" / "adjustment" I have severe reflux. I can't wait to get this thing out of me. I have had to have all of the Fluid removed. I am now trying to get a revision to the RNY. I truly understand how you feel and wish you the best!
