  1. Thank you! You are so sweet! I am feeling great actually. It still hurts to get up and down, but it is very tolerable. I will say this is much better than i expected. I am thrilled to be banded. .
  2. You can do this. Mine was 2 weeks and was rough at times, but so worth it. It enabled my liver to shrink, which my dr said helped the surgery go "beautifully". I am so happy! You all will do great. Believe in yourselves and stick it out!
  3. I stayed overnight, just had my surgery on the sixth, and while it isn't like home, it was helpful. It was helpful because they were there to answer my questions, comfort me and tell me how much i could drink at a time, and it was comforting to know they were there. Honestly, i probably would have been more scared to go home right away. So much unknown. This is a good thing! As far as the diet you will get through it. Im not even feeling hungry post op, but im having to set my alarm on my phone to remember its meal time. I am so happy! Good luck to you. You will do great!
  4. Congratulations to you both! So exciting!
  5. I was banded tuesday and so far so good. I slept like a baby last night, first night at home. Now i am up walking. Your experience sounds rough, and im sorry. So far, things are much better for me than expected.
  6. I was scared but im still at the hospital and they told me i had to have four. Oz before i could leave. It wasn't all at once, it was spread over time lol.
  7. Doing great here! So far ive had 4 oz of apple juice and i am stuffed! I have some incision pain today, but tolerable. The worst is getting up and down. Popsicles are ok per my surgeon and md
