Well I’ve lost 65 pounds since my July sleeve. But now I’ve hit a plateau for about two weeks now. This is the most frustrating thing ever!!! I’ve gone back to cutting down my calories so I’m hoping this will pass soon.

Well I’m eating ground beef, chicken, shrimp, eggs and some bacon. I’m so over the Protein Shakes that I stop drinking them on the weekends. I think I’ve hit my first plateau but then as soon as I type that weight will drop again. I’m down 41lbs so far. I was sleeved July 18th. How y’all doin?On 09/01/2018 at 21:31, Leanbean said:
Hi July Sleevers! How is everyone doing? I’m just about 6 weeks post op and looking to see what everyone is eating.....needing some new ideas :-) -
No I haven’t measured myself yet but they did measure me at the doctor’s office. I’m sure I’ve lost inches because my bra’s and clothes are all really loose now.On 07/31/2018 at 22:03, lizvirgo09 said:

I’m just doing five pounds arm weights nothing too much and I’m sitting when I’m doing it. I hope he releases me to go back to work I’m going nuts here at home. Who would’ve thought I kinda miss my job?????😳On 07/31/2018 at 22:03, J San said:
I was told no working out until 6 weeks out. No more than 10lbs (lifting) and nothing more strenuous than walking. Be careful with your lifting weights.

I believe I hit my first plateau too. I’m down 28 pounds since starting this journey. I know you’re not supposed to weigh yourself everyday but I have since the surgery and the last few days I’ve held steady around the same weight. I’m sure it’ll change next week when I go back to work.

I go back Thursday August 2nd for my follow up. I just had to have something of substance. I actually miss chewing lol.On 07/31/2018 at 21:39, Leanbean said:
I had my surgery 7/24 and feel the same way. Meeting with my NUT tomorrow and hoping she will allow me to eat something of substance- maybe puréed or soft foods. Fingers crossed! A steak sounds delicious :-) -
I was sleeved on July 18th and yesterday I tried a bite of steak for the first time. I’m so burned out on liquids I need to move on to foods. I did start lifting weights and I think I hit my first plateau after losing 28 pounds.

That’s what I did before my surgery too. Mani pedi and got my hair done. Bought everything I thought I might need and got stuff ready for the hospital.

I’m super anxious about Wednesday. I’m so worried I’m going to wake up and they didn’t do the surgery. I keep looking over my labs and wondering why my numbers are the way they are and will everything be good enough. Anyways, it’s the final count down!!!

I’m definitely in the “over think everything” club. It’s either the nurse in me or the I’ve had this surgery yanked away from me twice thing. Anyways trying to relax and wait for Wednesday to get here. I did eat bacon a time or two on this diet but that’s my only cheat. Which is probably why I’m so nervous. I’m going to try and work Tuesday which is the all Clear Liquids day. I already apologized to everyone I work with ahead of time if I become a hangry B.

Almost go time!!! July 18th is my surgery date and here I am up as usual worrying. How do I know if my liver has shrunk enough for surgery?? I started the preop up diet on the fourth and I’m down roughly 12 pounds. I don’t have high cholesterol so I’m not sure. I don’t know I’m just worried cause it’s getting close and I’m worried it’s going to get taken away from me again.

Well I’m day four into the preop diet along with a week prior of having the stomach flu. I weighed myself this morning and the first fifteen pounds are gone. Although the last several days I’ve have a headache. Has anybody else had this?

I walk told walking is the best way to get rid of that pain. I’m not looking forward to that at all.

I’m in Ohio and my surgery date is July 18th. I can’t believe it’s this close I’m so excited I can almost touch it now.
-
I just did all my preop today and I’m cleared for July 18th too!!
-
I go tomorrow for my pre-op testing and final meeting with my surgeon.

Mine is on July 18th and it’s actually my wedding anniversary.

Help my Medicaid is dropping us!! Now I need to find our own insurance and my work doesn't offer it. I don't know really where to go from here.

Hi I'm in springboro. I'm at the beginning of my journey but it seems like my drs are doing everything back asswards. I have everything but a date and 9 months of dieting per insurance.

I made an appointment with my Dr and told her I was done being fat.

I’m in the same boat. I’m down a total of 106 pounds. Thirty of which I lost prior to the surgery and the six or so from surgery and I keep going back and forth with the same ten pounds. I need to lose at least another 100lbs to get into the ballpark of where I want to be weight wise. I work out and even started intermittent fasting and just keep gaining. Nothing is working anymore. I’ve cut carbs I keep portions small and yet gain and gain. I’m so disappointed in myself now I don’t know what to do.
