    I just took the Extra Strength Tylenol. And please use Fitness Pal now. Most people there may only be a few weeks ahead of you. You can start reading their food diaries and learn alot.   3. Thank you ladies for your comments! I feel like I am a failure because I am not sticking to the rules and not losing any weight.

    I need to kick myself in the butt and start doing what I should have done all along. I also haven't been checking this website which gave me a lot of motivation prior to surgery. Another downfall on my part.

    I know how you feel..we all do. The great thing about LBT I believe is that it's nonjudgmental support. Everyone has skipped a few rules or had weaknesses at times. We didn't get this way because we are disciplined. shake it off and start over. You can do it! Come to My Fitness Pal for additional support. Look me up if you like it.

    Actually, that is great! I was banded 9/7/12 and when I got to that point I was terrified! Found out it was because my insides were healing well. LBT has shown me that there are MANY different diets for us. Protein prevents the hunger. That has been my experience. Come over to My Fitness Pal. You will find more support and advice.     My surgery was 9/7/12 and before that I never took Tylenol for anything. My Gas X strips, Tylenol and hot green tea helped. Most of your pain is probably gas...I learned that being on LBT. Hope you feel better soon. Come on over to My Fitness Pal for more help and support.


  7. I am back in the office today for a full day for the first time since surgery on 9/27. I am exhausted! My starting weight (and all time high weight) was 240' date=' surgery day was 234, weighed in this morning at 222.3. I feel great, other than being tired and still sore at the port site, otherwise just trying to plug away at the Protein. Having a hard time getting enough as I am never hungry. I am 33 years old and have been having issues with weight loss/dieting for ten years, since a shoulder injury took me out of competitive swimming. Kidney issues arose through the years and I think the more miserable I felt, the less active I became. I look forward to being able to run around with my 13 year old son again![/quote']

    WOW! Your stats are almost identical to mine. I'm 46, banded 9/7/12. You are losing better than me. Try to release the negative energy from your past. I know its hard but how about "Thanks to my PREVIOUS misery, i've been banded and will be running around with my 13 yr old son again" Im only speaking from experience...I promise you, been there and still fighting my way through. But it ultimately lead me to getting the Band and starting over. There is alot of support here. USE IT! WE GOT YOU


  8. Heel everyone...I started TAPOUT XT workout today. It's rough. I could not do the floor exercises because of my band. Will try to wrap my waist. I was only able to do 30 min of a 45 min workout. I have 2 injuries and it makes some of the more simple moves difficult. Mostly due to extreme muscle weakness and nerve damage. Hopefully, I will strengthen my muscles and really loose weight.

    This part of the journey is going to be very difficult!

    Actually, I haven't found it yet. Im looking for a good dissolving FLAVORLESS Protein Powder. This I can add to Water, Soups or any food I cook. I am in Tampa and can't find one. I personally know 6 other people who have been banded and none of them are using flavorless Protein. I know its out there.

  11. I had this Protein shake the other day and i almost floated into outer space. You can do this with pumpkin as well!

    1 scoop Whey Tech Vanilla Pro 24 Protein powder ( any vanilla protein you like' date=' 1 serving)

    4oz cold, cooked, sweet potato

    Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg

    8 oz unsweetened almond milk

    Add Ice to suit thickness

    Blend and enjoy!
