Black or white -- haven't you heard of relativism? How about situational ethics? :tongue2:

lovegrapes, couldn't he use the thicker fill solution? I've heard it works for minor leaks.

Capital One didn't assess any additional fees. Of course a lot has changed in the financial market in the past month.

Definitely my idea of a happy ending!

Whoa... but do you ever use it threaten Rick? It sounds like some powerful mojo...

OK, I confess... I'm an amoral hedonist! BTW SNT, I like your avitar.

I'm talking about professional massages. I've heard that in some places they will ask if you would like a "happy ending" (jerk off). In that scenario, I don't consider it cheating. They've already had their hands all over you and while I agree that genitals are generally private and off limits, in this situation, where you have a professional utilizing their hands to take you to a climatic finish, it just doesn't seem like cheating to me. Hands and/or devices after a real massage--I think is OK. Oral or genital to genital is a definite NO NO. Now, if it's a so-called massage parlor that really isn't one, that's a totally different story.

In most states, minors are allowed to marry so long as their guardians give consent. The ages vary from 14 and up. I don't understand how this law can co-exist with statutory rape laws.

I'm talking via manipulation. I mean, there's nothing more relaxing than the big O so wouldn't a massage feel a bit incomplete without one? I've never had a professional massage but all my private sessions have ended with the big O. I'd feel gyped otherwise.

That's great to hear. Do you like the new shape that's coming along? It sounds like the bloating and swelling has gone down quite a bit.

I have a question for everyone/anyone who wanders into this thread: Would you consider a happy finish in a massage cheating? I told my husband that I would not consider that cheating and he looked at me like I was an alien.

I just did the math and figured out that while I lost 7.5 lbs over the last 3 months, that only equals 2.5 lbs per month. That's less than .5 lb per week. *sigh* At least it's a loss and it's a permanent loss as it wasn't on some fad diet. It happened while I was just living my life. Prior to banding that was the average gain per month while I was just living my life so at least I've reversed the trend.

Overall, how are you feeling?

Relativism is a theory but in practical terms, most of us practice it whether we realize it or not. My post wasn't intended to help reinforce arguments from either side as it could have been used equally by both sides. Some consider relativism of societal mores to be evil and use it to propound the theory that if you allow societal mores to be eroded by libertarian ideals, society itself would be eroded and we would revert to a "survival of the fittest" race. In this instance the far right and the far left probably would both fight against relativism.

Bel, WOW! What an amazing difference. Simply marvelous!

Relativism is the philosophical position that all points of view are equally valid and that all truth is relative to the individual. This means that all moral positions, all religious systems, all art forms, all political movements, etc., are truths that are relative to the individual. Under the umbrella of relativism whole groups of perspectives are categorized. In obvious terms, some are: cognitive relativism (truth) - Cognitive relativism affirms that all truth is relative. This would mean that no system of truth is more valid than another one and that there is no objective standard of truth. It would, naturally, deny that there is a God of absolute truth. moral/ethical relativism - all morals are relative to the social group within which they are constructed. situational relativism - that ethics (right and wrong) are dependent upon the situation.

RedAntz, you might want to try the 5 Day Pouch Test. Today was day 3 of the 5 day pouch test and I'm very glad I cancelled my fill appt yesterday. I ate 3/4 cup of chicken salad for lunch (12:00) and it kept me satisfied until dinner at 7:00 PM (1 cup of tuna salad). It's definitely given me back my restriction. The next time I feel like I may need another fill, I may try liquids for a couple of days just to see if that restores it. Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test

Evidently in Canada, if the cell doesn't fit, you must acquit (release)... http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/n...9-f49128462874 Canadian prison authorities were forced to release a 450-pound (205 kg) drug gang member this week because he was too large for his cell, the Journal de Montreal newspaper reported on Wednesday. Michel Lapointe - known as Big Mike - was arrested in September 2006 and received a five-year sentence in May this year. The paper said he could not fit on the chair in his Montreal prison cell and when he went to bed, his body protruded six inches (15 cm) on either side. A letter from the authorities to Lapointe said: "You have been detained for more than 25 months and your prison conditions are difficult because of your health". The authorities also cited the refusal of two other facilities to accept the 37-year-old. He was freed late on Tuesday. "I'm going to have a proper bed and finally have a chair I can sit in," he told the paper outside the prison. "I want a normal life. I've done some stupid things and I've paid for them," he said.

Congrats on the 2nd job and sorry about your DIL. It must be a bit crowded with everyone living together but I bet it's nice to have everyone together, especially over the holidays.

I hope everything went well with your surgery and you're well on your way to recovery.
