No caffeine restricitons for me either. I drink 2 to 3 cups a day.

I spoke with my Dr. about Aleve several months ago as it is my favorite pain killer for my back (I have scoliosis which is further aggravated by rheumatoid arthritis and let's face it, FAT). Anyway, he said no to Aleve because it can cause the lining of the pouch to thin. He said if I must have it, then I had to first crush it in applesauce and also take a daily prescription of preventive acid reflux meds. He strongly urged trying to get by on liquid tylenol. After losing 20 lbs the constant back pain has all but disappeared. It does make a cameo appearance now and then but I can usually suffer through it without any medication. It's amazing what 20 lbs can do.

Madame, you have a one track mind! It is disconcerting they would have broadcast reports like that without conducting an exhaustive study first. I'd certainly like to see the actual study. Did they test average weight people to see if they also had the virus? If 30% of fat people had this virus, how did they determine the virus caused obesity and wasn't actually a result of being more susceptible due to an obesity related malady?

Good morning all. Working from home today with sick DD. She's got a terrible cough but no temperature so hopefully she'll get better soon. speechless...

I'm still riding that plateau... I have not been drinking nearly enough water either so I'll focus on that and try to get in at least 6 glasses a day.

I don't know about cussing, but I slapped my doctor when I was giving birth to my son 15 years ago. She reported me as hostile and a potentially violent mother. The hospital refused to release my son to go home with me until my dad (my then hubby was stationed in Turkey and since the baby was early, didn't make it to the birth) threatened to call the MPs (military hospital) and accuse the hospital of kidnapping. They released the baby within 15 minutes. WTG! Orgasm helps with EVERYTHING! Right? I find this annoying also as I want to compare my progress with others. Even though I know I shouldn't, I can't help myself and I usually come out with the short end of that stick. My weight loss to date has been a snail's pace. Same to you! Ditto! Remember, curb the urge to slap the doctor!

There are literally hundreds of posts on LBT about the fluctuations of the tightness of the band. Our bodies react to everything that happens to us. I've seen many posts where people say sometimes the tightness fluctuates several times a day. If you feel loose for 2 weeks straight, then it's probably time for a fill but be careful not to overfill (I know you've read the numerous posts on here abuot what being too tight can lead to).

I second that. Just cause you join the mob, doesn't mean you actually have to play. You can be members of several mobs. My DH is also a member of my mob (because I made him do it) but he never plays it. I am in desperate need of 2 more mobsters so that I can do a bank job -- c'mon people, come join my mob, damn it! Sick - do the 5 Day Pouch Test - the first 2 days consist of liquids and if you are as tight as you feel, then it's a breeze to do it and the added bonus is most people lose 3-6 lbs at the end of the 5 days.

Beth quit picking on Plain long enough to become a member of my mob - then you can pick away all you want. :biggrin: Plain - U 2!
