:bump: I was just thinking about our upcoming 1 year anniversary and thought I would bump our thread and see how everyone is doing.. I've been a little slow on the loosing but have finally hit 62 pounds gone this past week! I have recently started working out and have found myself in the gym at least 4 out of 7 days! I feel great, I'm down from a size 24 to a loose 18 tight 16. I can actually buy from a clearance rack now! *lol* How is everyone else doing?

There are a few of us Ma bandsters, we are just a quiet bunch *lol* what part of MA are you all from?

Congratulations!!!! I also had lots of pain post surgery, but it did fade withing 2 days. Don't worry about the 4 pound weight gain, it could be from the IV fluids they infused during surgery.... Good luck to you!!

I agree with the other ladies, please go see your doctor. I also had very irregular cycles after banding. I guess it was just the effects of quick weight loss.. Good luck to you

I was very lucky that my health plan covered 100% of the sugery and follow-up after paying my co-pays for each doctor visit.

1)How much of a fill you all got the first visit? 1cc for my first fill 2)What size and brand of band?4cc band, Inamed 3)Did your Dr. use floro or not for this first visit?no fluro used for fills 4)How much did you get on your second fill?0.5cc 5)How long before you NEEDED (not got it, but needed it) your second fill?My surgeon told me to come back two weeks after the first fill if I didn't notice a change in my restriction. So I did return for another fill. Hope that helps..

Monday weigh in: 220 this morning.. down 2 pounds this week!

I'm sorry to hear that things aren't well.. Are you bleeding during bowel movements or is it just coming out? Did your doctor do lab tests to check your different blood levels? Did your doctor give the bleeding a name? Like Upper GI/Lower GI bleeding???

Weigh in this morning was 222, up one pound! Guess that's what eating fried dough and cotton candy at the fair this weekend will do.. I WILL do better next week!

Down 1 pound this week! So my current weight is 221. I did step on the scale yesterday and it said 218!!! Boy I wish it still said that today.

Count me in! I'm 222 as of this morning and I would like to lose another 12 pounds for this challenge. I will have a "challenge start photo" by the end of the week.. I must get back to the gym this week!

I stayed the same this week. So in total -10 pounds for me! I'll take it.. Congratulations to everyone for all the weight lossed and all the wonderful NSV's!!!
