Hi, I got banded too today. Home now. Well got Home at 8pm. They fixed my hernia also. Minimal pain. When I initially woke up omg, holy pain!! Took a few shots of pain meds to control it. Glad you both are doing well. So far I don't have gas pain either! Knock on wood!! I have been getting up and doing some walking. A tiny bit of discomfort in chest but nothing too bad. Can't believe I am on the other side!!

Mrs Britt, I am home now. Sitting is fine butt getting truism a little rough but I am holding a pillow to My stomach and that helps. Are you staying over night? I can't believe we are banded!!!

Today is my first day of the shakes. The chocolate was awesome! Kept me full for 4-5 hours. The strawberry which I am having now kinda stinks. I don't like it. I can't wait to See how much weight I will lose! Anyone else starting pre op?

Ok, so I am having surgery on Thursday and I lost 9.5 lbs on pre op diet. Wish I lost more. Anything I can do to push it some more? Besides exercise? Thanks!

Wow, 22 lbs?! That's awesome!! I am starting to get nervous. I call hospital today to find out what time tomorrow. It's going to be in the afternoon because my dr has morning hours at the office. That's going to stink big time. All that time without even a SIP of water let's definitely keep each other updated!!

Thank You everyone. Today I did pretty well with drinking lots of water and lots of exercise. I actually felt so good. Felt like I had a ton of energy and pep in my step! LOL I am so happy I got my head back in the game. I lost it for a little bit. I can't believe I am actually getting weight loss surgery on Thursday! I can't wait to be thin and healthy again. Good luck to anyone getting their surgery soon!!

Is this normal? I got my period a few days ago but now its ending. So many people lost So much more on pre op. I am nervous that my liver won't be good enough

They didn't give me a set amount to lose. Ok I feel better now. I thought I would lose like 20 lbs, LOL

Ok, not sure if the title made sense but I feel like I am losing my confidant steam. I was chugging along so well ( to the song " eye of the tiger " ) LOL and now for some reason I slowed down. I keep telling myself how I have to do this for my health and how much better I will feel and look. Part of me is wondering if I will even make it after. Ok, this post seems so depressing. Anyone go through this during pre op? I guess you would call it doubt. It doesn't help that I got my period 2 days ago either. Thanks for letting me vent
