Things went well, Im on pain pump with leg massagers to prevent clots. I have a terrible headache, but otherwise Im ok. Moving to bathroom ok and took short walk down the hall. One of my nurses had this procedure last year and she looks great. Gave me some good tips. Im glad all my Octosleevers are doing well so far!! -

Today is the day and I cant sleep!! Have to report to hospital at 1245om PST and Im excited, nervous and grateful for this chance to restart my life the healthy way. Good luck fellow Octosleevers. I will check back in ASAP. -

Im doing well, no special pre-op diet. But plenty of strange dreams. OMG!! I'm nervous and cant believe Im less than 1 week out before surgery. Nerves and nightmares is what Im experiencing. Got all of my phase II foods in the house, just ready to get to the losers bench. -

My surgeon isnt requiring a pre-op diet either, but since orientation Ive been on the pre-op meal plan. Which has me learning how to ear properly and I've lost 14lbs following it. So he says keep doing what Im doing, no liquid diet required. I started at 237lbs BMI of 42, Im down to 223 today and he requested I get to 220lb by day of surgery. Good luck to you!! -

Just left my pre-op surgeon appointment and all is well!! Im down 5lbs since I saw him two weeks ago, so no pre-op diet for me. Im nervous and extremely excited, I asked him so many questions that he was proud I was prepared. Thanks to all of my fellow Oct Sleevers for you input, support and information. Oct 3rd here I come!! -

Im scheduled for Oct. 3rd. Starting weight of 237 now about 222 and I have 2 more to go before surgery. 42 yoa, divorced with two boys (22 & 19) and Ive got a grandson on the way. He has inspired me to stop procrastinating and move forward with wls!! -
I have to lose 8lbs by 10/3 and have lost 4lbs this week by replacing one meal a day with MyloPlex Protein. It taste great and keeps me full for hours. And it has 42g of protein!!
