  1. I do take Biotin daily and tried the Flinstones with Iron (per my surgeons suggestion) and Bariatric Advantage multi and calcium and all 3 made me so queezy. So much that I have no desire to take them. I was taking a multi that agreed with me (pre surgery) but the gel capsules are horse pills! I'm not sure I can take them. I will check out the other brands and go from there. Thanks! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using LapBandTalk
  2. What multi-vitamins is everyone taking? Do you like taking them? Do you feel good taking them? I am horrible at taking Vitamins and have noticed a significant change in my skin and hair (hair thinning bad). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 4. Here's an update on my progress. Afyer my little situation 2 weeks ago, I didn't feel 100%. Almost like I was fighting the flu or something. Last Friday, I started getting SEVERE abdominal cramping and discomfort. After many nights of interrupted sleep and pain, I called my surgeon, he saw me at his office and sent me to the hospital. They ran a series of tests to determine I have Gallstones! Pending surgery if the pain doesn't go away by Monday. I'm not going to let this get me down! This is just a "hiccup" in the road! 7. I've been considering this technique ever since I saw CP on Dr. Oz last week. I am new to lapband (banded 9/8/12) and am still leary to eat any kind of carb. Especially toast/bread. Now that I see all you having good results, I think I'm going to try it! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using LapBandTalk
  8. I actually had a cup of hot tea and a bottle of Water and the discomfort has subsided. I will certainly stick to the liquids for the next day or so. Strong possibility I am dehydrated. Thanks!! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using LapBandTalk
  9. I have been drinking a lot of coffee (caffiene), I wonder if that has something to do with it? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using LapBandTalk

  21. Anyone else still on liquids more than 2 weeks post op?? I was doing great, but today, I'm struggling!! I can't even have any creamy soups, just broth. 22. I just had my follow up appt with my Doctor and I'm happy to say I have lost 14lbs since having my surgery on 9/8! 10 more days on liquids and then on to solids! Yahoo!!
  23. Hi all, I just got banded on 9/8 & for some odd reason, I'm PETRIFIED of band slippage. It's just in the back of my mind. Can anyone explain to me what it looks or feels like? My port incision is healing beautifully, but seems to be making a "dimple" where the incision is. I would imagine thats because the swelling has come down significantly. Above the incision is stilll swollen. Sound "normal" to anyone? My FU appt is tomorrow, but I can't help wondering if something is wrong. Am I being neurotic?
