what multi-vitamins to take??

What multi-vitamins is everyone taking? Do you like taking them? Do you feel good taking them? I am horrible at taking Vitamins and have noticed a significant change in my skin and hair (hair thinning bad). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi YankeeChick~

I keep it simple and take "Flinstones Complete" chewable tablets, 1x day with one of my meals. Then I take 2 Caltrates Soft Chews, 1 with my Breakfast and 1 after my lunch or dinner. They are chocolate flavored, so it feels like I'm having a bite of dessert when I take them after my meal.

I've been banded for 17 days now, and I have not noticed any difference with my hair. My hair is sligthly below my shoulders now, and I have thick hair, so it might be too early or difficult to tell if any changes have occured or not...time will tell I guess. The good news is, the thinning won't last and your hair will grow back, but you still need to take your Vitamins :)

The Flinstones are really good- I don't mind them at all.

Good Luck!

I take the flintstones vitamins as well. I also use the chewable calcium.

I like the Celebrate cherry chewable multi-vitamins, they don't make me nauseous like the Vitaband vitamins. I notice that when people around me are getting colds, I do not, and I know for a fact that my immunity system is not 100% (past smoker). Hair and nails do seem better, but I also take biotin, so I'm not sure which to contribute that to as biotin is supposed to be for that purpose.

I do take Biotin daily and tried the Flinstones with Iron (per my surgeons suggestion) and Bariatric Advantage multi and calcium and all 3 made me so queezy. So much that I have no desire to take them. I was taking a multi that agreed with me (pre surgery) but the gel capsules are horse pills! I'm not sure I can take them. I will check out the other brands and go from there. Thanks!
