  7. Sooo, I'm due for a fill next week, and for the past few weeks I've noticed I have been going to the bathroom with diarrhea. Today all I had was a turkey sandwich on a wheat pita (only ate half) tummy started bubbling hours later and I was in the bathroom. I've had nothing else to eat, I ate a sugar free Popsicle??? Is this normal? Is my tummy still adjusting???? I soo want a ginger ale but can't have one!!!! What do I do??? I've went 3 times today...( sorry to be gross).... Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  8. Is there any way you can get the RX in liquid form??? Double check and see... So far I'm not having problems taking pills but, I haven't had a fill yet??? See if you can get liquid form... Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

  10. I would call the doctor or nurse to make sure that everything is ok. If you take a laxative make sure you take a stool softener, you don't want to strain anything. I didn't go poopy for about 8 days but, my surgeon explained it to me and that I will need a laxative... Call your doctor/nurse.... Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  11. I'm kind of in the middle, like you they found a hernia and removed it. I feel restriction more like when I drink Water. My first fill is November 28, and I'm sure I won't as much freedom as I do now. Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

  15. I am a type II diabetic also, I started on metformin then I was told too start insulin. This plus high blood pressure and cholesterol too. Since my surgery ( 10/18) my blood sugars have been stable, I still have to watch what I eat. My cholesterol has improved. Make sure you monitor your blood sugar, take them 4 times a day. Also are you eating anything with sugar or a lot of carbs? If its still an issue there are other options than metformin. Good luck to you!!!! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  16. Same here my first fill is 11/28!!!! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

  18. Thank you!!!! I'm still a little nervous. I have a job fair scheduled to go attend later in the afternoon. Will I be ok to walk around for maybe 30-45 minutes? Or will I be uncomfortable, or just go home and relax for awhile. Does the band size determine how much your full will be??? I love this site, it feels like no matter the question someone is always there and I love and appreciate that!!!! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  19. My first full is 11/28, and I'm scared and nervous. What can I expect? Will it hurt, how much pain will I be in? How many cc's will I get??? I'm so nervous right now, will I be able to eat what I'm eating now??? Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

  21. It's official it has been one month since my surgery, October 18, 2012!!!! I go for my first fill on November 28, I'm a little scared and anxious at the same time.... I have not been on a scale since I went in for a follow up a week after my surgery. Should I be concerned if I've gained weight, I feel as though I have lost a few more pounds.... I still have some discomfort where my port is... Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
