  1. I'm right there with you.. I weigh every morning. I was banded Aug 28 and I'm down 58 &I feel like it's never enough.. I think my thing is I want to be in the 100s so bad and I won't be happy until I'm there. My fiance keeps telling me your only 7 weeks out and have lost almost 60lbs be happy your doing amazing...

    Just remind yourself how good your doing maybe put sticky notes on your mirror to remind yourself.. Keep up the good work!!

    Children!!! why because were still young and taking control of our health and weight before were 50 plus and can enjoy our healthy hot bodies while were still young yes that totally makes us children!! Ooh watch out someone other than the cliquey comment on every damn post I know anything and everything, on this forum 24/7, has an opinion and advice and because I'm not 50 plus or five years post OP it makes anything I say incorrect right!!?

    I don't and haven't puked, I've never been stuck, I eat a half cup of food because I'm full after that so just an fyi I'm not successful from a tight band I'm successful as I eat healthy, eat small portions and I work my @$$ off in the Gym 6 days a week and have been doing so 4 months before I was banded!!

  3. I so agree with you! Some times I feel bullied by some of all this know it all people around here ... We are all different what worked for them may

    not work for us! And u r right they give the same answers to everyone .... Jesus get over it ppl "lap-band know it all"s"

    Love it.. I'm not a online forum clique kind of person and I'll speak my mind and I don't care if its not what the cliques want to hear as this forum has a clique anyone can point out!! same answers on every post no matter what the question (chew chew, no more than a cup of food, satisfy, it isn't no restrict, call your Dr or my favorite follow your Dr instructions no solids at all) pretty sure we all know that we did have the same surgery as you!!


  4. My bands far from tight. I have 4cc in my band I eat a half cup of food I'm full for five hours that doesn't mean my band is to tight if it was I'm sure my Dr would be taking Fluid out.. If I was told all the band does is satisfy you and toot can eat as much as you want I wouldn't of been banded. It definitely does restrict your portion sizes... I've learned not to argue with the lapband knw it alls who have the same answer on every response they make.. To each there own. My bands working I'm losing weight, I've lost half what I need to lose in 7 weeks with eating healthy eating less exercising six days a week and it was 20 grand well spent to get my health and rockin hot body back ;)


  5. I have been so afraid to swallow solid food I live on Protein Shakes, yogurt, Soup, saltine crackers, cottage cheese and that's about it. Its been 8 almost 9 weeks and I can't get over this fear of it hurting it getting stuck (yes I take tiny bites I use a baby spoon and fork and I chew every vote to a liquid mush) I'm losing an average of 5lbs a week , work out 6 days a week and make sure I get all Mt Protein in everyday fun the stuff I'm not afraid to eat.. I had a fill wed. Which I don't think I needed but she put 1cc in and I'm doing fine with what I do eat but I'm wondering if I'll ever get over this fear.. I love my band and the constant weight I'm losing but I'm terrified of it!!! Is there anyone else with this issue or fear?? I'm down 38 since surgery 58 total since pre OP diet and I only have 65 more to lose..

My Dr is two almost three hours away and they come to my town every two weeks.so I figure if they are here I might as well See them since all my appointments.for the.first year are included in my $24000 surgery which I just got the bill for today and it says there was a hernia repair billed but I've never been told he did this nor did they ever mention anything about a.hernia. I had no signs or symptoms of having a hernia???? Is this normal to do something and bill for something that's never been mentioned or told to me??


  7. How often do you go in to see your Dr?? I've been going every two weeks for weigh in and to see if I need a fill which I haven't.needed yet I'm planning on going every two weeks for fills/weigh in's until I'm in the green even if I dint get Fluid in my band every time.. Just curious how everyone else had done it??!


  8. CONGRATS!!!!so happy for you!sure hope I start getting results!!i lost 17lbs on the pre op diet and I'm three weeks post op and only down 3lbs :( any tips?

    I work out 6 days a week 2 to 3 hours Day I've been doing it since may. I also went vegetarian in may and so I eat healthy now I do have fish still but no other meats.. I committed to all id thus before surgery so that I would be healthy and successful in my weight loss journey :) keep up the good work 3lbs is better than no pounds :)

    Onderland is to be in the 100s :)

I put a photo of myself 2 weeks before surgery and the start of my pre OP diet next to NY 4 week post OP photo taken yesterday and omg I'm so proud of myself!! 20lbs lost on the pre OP diet Abbe as of yesterday 25 lost post surgery for a total of 45 lbs!! Being banded was the best decision I've ever made and every pound down is huge motivation especially looking at and comparing photos and officially to small for any of my clothes! Tonight I was walking up the stairs into the house and my Jeans fell down!! I can't wait to get to Onderland!! My Onderland reward is a trip to Vegas!!!
