The Towel Stayed On!!
This morning I got out of the shower to my 2 year old awake and needing to potty. I normally put my bathrobe on but was too lazy so I wrapped the towel around myself. To my amazement the towel actually wrapped around enough to be tucked on and it stayed on!! I love all these small reminders that I am changing :-)

What A Bunch Of Crap!
I had the same exact thing happen to me. I went in 2011 and was told I was 5 pounds too light, insurance wouldn't cover it. They told me to come back in 6 months if nothing worked. I tried weight watchers again over the course of the next year and was still at the same weight. So when I went back I ate a HUGE burrito and drank a TON of liquids, wore my heaviest outfit and just barely made the BMI requirement. Good Luck! I know it is frustrating.

I use the Xbox Kinect to workout. It has a recognition feature that signs you in. Well the last few weeks it wasn't signing me in. Then it dawned in me...maybe it doesn't recognize me! I reprogrammed the ID and now it's working fine. The XBOX DIDN'T RECOGNIZE ME!! Lol

Introduction
Welcome Cindy! I was banded 9/4/12. I feel great! I haven't had any complications. I was a little sore after surgery but the pain was nothing to how I felt after giving birth I just reached two months I am down 26.8 since my surgery date an have lost more than 16 inches off my body. This band was the BEST THING I EVER DID!!! I wish I had done it sooner The fears you have are normal. We all have some form of them. You just have to use your band as the tool it is. It's not magic, you still have to make good choices and remember the eating rules, small bites, chew well, Protein first. Good Luck on your journey. This is a great place for support and advice.

October Spooktacular Challenge
- Multivitamins
My surgeon suggests centrum complete. Funny how they are all different. Mine told me to avoid gummies because try aren't as complete as the others. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as you find one that has all the vitamins you need and you can stand taking them.- 2+ Years Update
Wow! You are an inspiration and a great writer. Thank you for sharing your story!- Empty Stomach Breath
I seem to have bad breath from having a mostly empty stomach all the time. Is there anything you use besides gum and brushing teeth to help combat this?- October Spooktacular Challenge
Checking in at 224.9! Down 4.4 this week and already at my October goal!! Yay!!- 1 Year Ago Today!
Congrats Jason! Thank you for sharing your success and experiences it's motivation for those if us just starting out.- Restriction Or Suppression?
I went in for my first appointment to discuss a fill. My dr and I agreed that since I seem to be in that "green zone" a fill at this point would be unnecessary. I had 5cc put in at surgery and don't need anymore yet. I have read as you lose weight the band also loosens so I may need one down the road.- Restriction Or Suppression?
It truly is a great tool. I too can eat a small amount of food and stay satisfied for at least 3 or more hours. I am surprised everyday at how little I can eat and not feel hungry. I was banded 6 weeks ago. I am so happy with this decision.- Anyone Getting Banded In September?

I requested you. I'm goalseeker32 for anyone else who would like to add me.- Please Help Me Understand Post Op Diet Rules Normal Diet Importance Of Carbs & Cals
My nutritionist told me to focus on getting at least 50g of Protein in every day although 70-80 is ideal. I find it hard to do if I don't have a Protein shake for Breakfast. I basically eat a protein shake made with 2% milk, frozen fruit and spinach for breakfast. This way I get a serving of fruit and veggies in as well. lunch is some kind of protein with veggies and a few crackers sometimes. dinner is again some protein and veggies. I have just started introducing carbs like Pasta and potatoes but I try to REALLY limit my intake on them. I am keeping track of calories but dont have a calorie goal. I am feeling like I'm in the green zone because I can normally do 650-900 cal a day and feel satisfied. Hope this helps.- October Spooktacular Challenge
