  1. Maddy is in our thoughts and prayers! What a courageous young lady.
  2. Thank you all for your support, it means so much! I'm not sure I could have gotten through this without LBT members! Everyone has been amazing. Even if it isn't a thread I reply to, I have read so much that has gotten me through this process!!!
  3. Hope your incision pain gets better soon! Congrats on becoming a Bandsters!
  4. Yes I am spending the night 1) because I have a bleeding disorder so as a precaution 2) I live 6 1/2 Hours away from my surgeon. I honestly don't know how people handle going home just hours after surgery, I am having pain just on my port incision and gas pain in my chest and shoulders.
  5. Thoughts and prayers are with you!
  6. Just got out of recovery and besides the gas pressure feel pretty good! Thoughts and prayers go out to my fellow September 26th bandsters!
  7. Tomorrow is my day too! I figured I would be nervous by now, but I am excited to finally have this done! Good luck to you tomorrow!

  9. Me too I did have one that I really liked it was pure protein 100% whey protein but ran out and went back to Walmart to get some more and of course they didn't have it so grabbed some other that looked similar and I Hate It! My husband is doing the liquid diet with me and he isn't usually picky about his Protein drinks and he hates it too! So I need to find something else I like.
  10. My surgery is 9/26 and I'm in the same boat...Ii even have had episodes of getting really dizzy. Keep up the good work and I'm sure it will pay off for us!
  11. I am doing the liquid diet. 3 Protein shakes a day, broth, creamy Soups, sf Jello, sf pudding, sf Popsicle....
  12. Btw... She is doing okay but has a concussion.
  13. I have had a horrible day!!! My 5 year old ended up going by ambulance to the hospital because she fell and hit the back of her head on the gym floor and passed out in my arms! Thankfully there was an emt there. But anyhow, I am an emotional eater and would normally shut myself in a room by myself with a bag of M&M's or some other chocolate candy. But I am on day 6 of my preop diet and trying to stay strong, but I am struggling!!!
  14. It is great to know that others are going through this. I quit drinking any soda over a year ago but i love my sugar. I didn't call my dr about it but it is nice to know why I have had the headaches.
  15. I would just like to have less back pain! That is my one goal!!! I look forward to the change in appearance but at this point I just want less pain.
  16. I am drinking 3 protein shakes (body fortress super advanced whey protein) water, water, water....broth, sf Popsicles, creamy soups, V8 diluted, no sugar added grapefruit juice diluted. And did I mention Water!
  17. Omg! My husband, who is very fit, decided he was going to do everything in his power to support me during this journey, so he went on the liquid preop diet with me and he has lost 19 lbs in 5 days! I didn't even know that was possible...but I lost 10 pounds so I am so excited! 5 more days before surgery and I couldn't be more excited for this new lifestyle!
  18. Thoughts and prayers are with you and all of my fellow September banders getting banded tomorrow!
