Question About Pre Testing

I had an endoscopy yesterday (the last thing i have to do before i can get my date) anyway it showed that i have a hiatal hernia and acid reflux. Now i have to follow up with gastroenterologist before i can see surgeon (they are in same group). I am worried this diagnosis will delay the surgery. Anybody in same boat? Just want to get on with this:)!

I have a hiatal hernia and it was no big deal, surgeon just said he would repair that while they were doing surgery.
