Hey there. I assume you mean 9/27, right? Honestly, the worst part of the whole process for me was the pre-surgery diet. Since you're presumably getting fewer calories than your body is used to, it's normal to feel a little sluggish in the beginning. I find that after about 3-4 days my body starts burning more fat for fuel and things improve a little. I hope this turns out to be the case for you. Hang in there. It's probably going to get a little worse before it gets better, but it does get MUCH better. Best of luck.

yes so make sure you are getting your protein in (its your fuel and will keep you going)

i am not sure if you are on all liquids or not...but it gets easier and it will be so worth it :)

My surgery is 9/26 and I'm in the same boat...Ii even have had episodes of getting really dizzy. Keep up the good work and I'm sure it will pay off for us!

I have felt dizzy too, thanks for the good thoughts!

Hi, I will be starting my pre op diet in about two weeks. I won't have my next appointment with the nutritionist until 10/2, but i like to be prepared. With the protein shakes can you mix fruits with them to get your daily servings and how about your daily servings of veggies?

I am in the SAME boat!! 10 days of liquids and sugar free jello an popsicles!! It is the hardest thing ive ever had to do!!! I feel week and mellow and im always a chipery happy go lucky gal... 4 more days

Im with you, 4 days down and 4 to go. Weekend has been the hardest

Mine is on the 27th too, but I have to do the 15 days liquid diet!!!! I am always thinking of food..it's bad.

Mine in on the 27th too! What a popular day. I only have to do 48 hours of a liquid diet. My BMI is just at 40. So my Dr said 48 hrs was enough. Did anyone else have their dr tell them that?

Mine is the 26th... I had to be on liquids for 2 weeks & I've been so grumpy.. I haven't lost that much weight tho & I only have 3 days left. :/

Mine was at 40 when I started and he still ha me do the 2 weeks. I think with him there is no exception! He had one patient who didn't follow the diet and her liver was big and broke...he said it was a mess. Don't know if it's true or he is just scaring people to follow their diet lol.
